Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Losing at Home to TCU, a team they were probably favored by 20 plus points to beat, is a new, monumental feat, even for the most over-rated Head Coach/program in all of College football...
TCU 17 Oklahoma 10
Nicely done, Stoops...
OU Fan, be sure to tune in Monday Night to Miami V FLorida St. if you want to see what REAL College football looks like.
It was a bad loss but overrated coach? Yeah right! I guess going to the National title games 2 years in a row and winning 1 isn't enough to be a good coach..
fight u dwn the fied..cu must win.. fight fight fr Victoy..cu knows no defet! so roll up the mighty score, Never Give in!!...shouler to shulder we will FIGHT..FIGHT ... FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

I am not a OU fan per say, but when I moved here in the late 90's, their program was an embarassment. Stoops took them all the way his second year here.
Yes they have been over rated the last couple of years, but they dont rate themselves.
I was listening to radio this morning (here in OK), and I thought to myself that they seemed way over confident....trying to guess if OU could win by more than 20 points....I thought that there might be a big upset in the making (especially considering the injuries they have already, and an unproven QB).
Damn, jack.....don't go 'razor' on my sooners....they're having a hard enough time (as am I) over this loss.
I think we all knew this year would be a rebuilding year........but I honestly didn't think they'd lose until the Texas game....
Oh well.....7-5 and a bowl game is better than 85% of the teams do.....

I'm suprised you hold so much optimism. Not that you are wrong in your thinking, but the typical Sooner fan would be calling for the head of Bob Stoops. I may have to turn of the Sirius this week and listen to the Animal in OKC. You have to admit, the absurdities heard from fans after OU losses can be quite amusing. They never let a realist/understanding fan on the station after a loss.

In reality tune in tomorrow night and watch va tech to see one of the participants in the title game...
They've already lost any shot they had at the National Championship. Even if they win the rest of their games, this major upset will make the BCS choose someone else.
Way to go, Horned Frogs!

What a ridiculous game...i thought the sooners would have some trouble in their first game with a new QB, butnothing like this, esp. with peterson in the backfield.

Think they'll be that bad?...i expect them to get it together, and let's face, they're not playing in the toughest of conferences..i'd say they finish at least 8-4, unless peterson is seriously hurt or something.
