  • Alright you CU fans...

If the Buffs actually beat Clemson, I will buy a Buffs sweatshirt or something and wear it all over the place when I go back to South Carolina. Clemson fans are entirely too annoying not to mess with them! I'm not big on CU, and I don't think they have much of a chance against Clemson, but I would laugh my ass off if they did win.

    Anyways, good luck Buffs!

Thanks, we appreciate the well wishes. It's kinda crazy that Clemson ended up being the opponent because my roommate's twin brother and girlfriend both go to Clemson, and he goes to CU...So there are some pretty serious bragging rights at stake here. Not to mention we are all seniors, so this is the chance... Unfortunately, I like Clemson's chances.

geez. clemson did NOT come out of that game looking like a #23 ranked team. our offense was totally non-existent thanks to a offensively-retarded interim head coach and a backup qb that had no business on a pop warner football field let alone a college football field. this game should have been a major blowout, considering our offense was no threat at all until white came in as our qb.

Well, they almost did it. Talk about stupid coaching....with 11 seconds left they should have kicked the field goal...how stupid! If they make it with mister bionic super kicker like they probably would have, they would still have time for an on-sides kick and if they recover that, they have at least a chance to throw up a prayer...

Oh well, at least I don't have to blow money on CU gear now. =p

I was thinking the same thing...Brad Johnson made that call for the Vikings and I thought it was brilliant!

But now is the time to get the CU gear ... everything is going on sell and wait 3-4 years down the road, we'll be in the top 10 in no time...

Thank you! I was shouting at the TV for them to kick it there at the end... Just like I was shouting at out defense for playing with 8-10 yard cushions on 3rd and 2 with the game on the line. Orrr just like I was shouting at our coaches when we had to burn up all 3 timeouts because the play wasn't getting in fast enough....

Definitely one of those 'don't let the door hit you on the way out.' situations with this coaching staff as far as I'm concerned.

If Notre Dame wins, I'll go to church. I'll take Lloyd Carrs wife.

^ actually, i think hankwitz is staying. he's a good defensive coordinator. but he's a career assistant coach. noone in their right mind will hire him as their headcoach after that showing against clemson.

Nah, he's on his way out. The Daily Camera reported today that Brian Cabral and Darian Hagan are being retained by Hawkins, which indirectly means that all the other assistants will not be kept on. There are only 2 coaching positions left on the staff and I would be shocked if either of them went to current assistants.

On a side note, the retention of Hagan means that his son is still considering coming to Colorado. He is a pretty highly touted defensive back and he had previously said that if his dad is still at CU then he would consider coming to play for him. I don't know where that stands... Also, I don't know what the status is on Hawkins' son who had previously committed to Boise St. as a QB, but Hawkins said that there was a possibility his son would follow him to Colorado. Just those two players alone could help bolster a depleated recruiting class.
