  • Wow what a weird ending to the Michigan/Nebraska game.

Michigan could have scored that TD if...

    1) the refs called a penalty on Nebraska for to many men on the field

    2) if one of the Michigan players blocked the guy who tackled the guy running....but no he just stood there.

    3) if the guy running for the TD pitched it back to Breaston

that would have benn cool if Michigan actually scored...

    1) The Michigan players were on the field too. Offsetting.

Good game by both. Ya'll see Cory Ross?

            Insane ending.

I had picked Nebraska to win the game, but when Michigan scored their last TD and Nebraska responded by going 3-and-out...I, unfortunately, gave up on them. Boy, how they surprised me!!!

Invesco is right, there were Michigan players on the field too. The most that would have happened would have been offsetting penalties, replay the down, probably with the same ending. Michigan fans will probably blame the referees for the loss, but the bottom line was that Michigan lost control of that game.

Michigan has nothing to say about the refs. Carriker (sp?) was getting held every other play, and on Taylor's second pick, there should have been pass interference. Crazy last play, and I would have been pissed if they didn't call penalties.
              Go Huskers.

Another call that went Michigan's way, and set them up for their last touchdown, was that punt catch interference call...it was a bad call and apparently Callahan convinced the refs it was a bad call, because the hit on the next punt cover looked like it was the exact same play.

Come on we would have scored on are last drive had The refs not made us take a timeout for every single review, even the announcers were bad mouthing the refs.

Well...similar to what has been said already, Carr had a right to be angry about the review that didn't come for the Terrence Nunn incompletion in the endzone, but in their defense, the referee on the field had an obstructed view, and as quickly as Nunn held up the ball, he was right for making the TD call, the refs in the booth should have been quicker about that...so I'll give you that one. The review of the Henne fumble, however, well, Carr seemed to jump the gun on that timeout...it wasn't like the Husker players were lining up to snap the ball, in fact, the Michigan offense was still on the field. He should have waited and saved that timeout. I don't know if Michigan would have scored on that last drive or not...they didn't run out of time, they ran out of plays. In fact, on that drive, the clock was actually working for them had they scored, as they'd taken the clock down to about 2 and a half minutes...had they scored, they would have had the clock advantage. It was a good defensive play by Bowman that ended that drive, not a lack of timeouts.

NEBRASKA SHOULDA LOST EASY, they just had enough money to pay off the refs, and the refs familys. I havnt see more uncalled penaltys even in pee wee football. But we will go with the last 3 big plays for MIchiagan as an example.

The throw by the Michagan QB was clearly a throw, i mean clear as day, but refs rule it as a fumble.

The deep slant to #86 for Michagan in the endzone, #1 for Nebraska was behind him and the ball was coming, so what does he do. He grabs the left arm, jumps right and jumps over #86 to tip the ball, all of that with no penalty.

Then on the last play, THE WHOLE NEBRASKA TEAM came on the field, and like 10 Michigan players did like 10secs later, and the Michigan players got right back off the feild. Shoulda been a penalty, and the dumb TE shoulda pitched it to Breaston seeming he is so good.

Every call in the world that was made that was BS went against Michagan, and so many penaltys werent called on the Corns, now come on and quit being biased because anyone knows that whole game was BS.

If that guy just pitched it back to Breaston (Sp?)...it would have been a touchdown. Plus a Michigan player had a chance to block the guy who ultimately tackled the guy but just stood there.
