That's not what I am saying. But if the teams only play at one teams home field, how fair is that? If they can play at both teams home fields, than that would be ok. For the the showdown, that is not possible right now, so right now the best spot for the game is Invesco.

but please, CU has no business going to Ft. Collins in their 30k seating... might as well go to a high school stadium... It's where it's suppose to be now, in Invesco.. close to CSU and CU fans instead of traveling to Ft Collins or Boulder...

We might have had a class together before.

30k for CSU? they need to build a new stadium

They almost got to the next level. They hade some huge wins against Utah and Air Force, and right as they can take the MWC, BYU and TCU beat them and then they loose again to San Diego State to almost have them loose a bowl game.

But our recruiting class was great this year. We got some top players from Colorado, so we can expect to at least beat the Buffs this year.

But, Folsom Field is one of the nicest college stadiums I must add.

We need to add more seats, but there aren't enough people who attend the games to pay off the addition. We did recently get a donation from Joey Porter, but we used that for the stadium locker rooms.

But, Invesco is the best. It is close to everybody and not one team (CU) gets homefield advantage.

    top 25

CU has not always been the favorite. During the last 10 years it has been back and forth.

There is nothing more exciting that CU and CSU BOTH being in the top 25.

CSU in the top 25 insn't doing CU any favors but helping strength of schedule.

    I appologize. I can't talk CU-CSU without talking smack.

I know that CU is doing us a favor, but without the Showdown, college football wouldn't be the same. They have to keep the game going on. Whether it be at Invesco or Folsom, the game is always gonna help CSU out in their quest for the top 25.

Ahh, I try to be civil sometimes and not make these into smack talking threads... But what each of you fail to realize is that CU is doing CSU the favor by playing you each year, don't get it twisted.

If you'll note the agreement is 55%-45% revenue sharing because CU is the bigger draw. CU is the favorite every year, with everything to lose... Whereas CSU is always the underdog, with everything to gain. You get your superbowl to start off the year, and CU gets to go on and play perennial national title contenders for a conference schedule.

The Buffs stand to make more $ from a game at Folsom Field than at Invesco, whereas the Rams significantly gain $ from a game at Invesco over Lubick field. Essentially what all this means is that you don't bring many chips to the table, and we hold all the leverage. The only way we'll agree to play these games is if they're in Boulder every year, or @ Invesco with CU getting the sweeter deal. It just doesn't make sense financially or competetively to play in Ft. Collins.

So you can save all this talk about us being the little sister, and that the Buffs owe the Rams a home game. You've got a better chance bringing the Broncos to Ft. Collins than you do Ralphie and Company.
