Thompson has played well as a WR during the spring and don't forget about Iglesias, he's been your best WR yet...

As for going undefeated, don't be sold on that yet, you still have to play the Golden Buffaloes!...LOL..

LOL, maybe in a few years I will be worried about the buffs, but I dont think this year. I think our best receiver is Malcom Kelly. He made some sick sick catches last year and should only improve this year. Iglesias started slow last year but had an outstanding spring.

Bomar wont even have to be a star, just manage a game and hand the ball off to Peterson, Patrick and newcomer Murray. Our receiving core is going to be excellent as well. The sooners will go undefeated if they can beat texas and beat A&M at Kyle field. About our only challenges this year. Other than that we should coast right along.

Nebraska had a good D last year because they played a team defense...but when you compare the athletes that OU has and that NU has, honestly no comparison... OU has DE's that can play LB and cover the field.. its just insane...

Insanely good athletes on that D...I was watching that spring game with my bro-in-law(sooner fan of course) and they were just dominate... I'd still be worried about Bomar though, the kid is so eratic, he just needs to calm down and do what he can do...

Yeah I think thats why we signed that Juco backup, so if Bomar craps the bed, he can clean it up i guess.

i was at that game as well.........at the bottom of the horseshoe (southside? ) but yeah, that game was not a good one, but whenever i think about that game, i start to immediatly think about a few years ago, 62-36 and how huge of a game Chris Brown had, still have that recorded

yeah and you were sitting probably where the endzone says COLORADO.. you were lucky you didn't have to deal with all the Red...

But this is starting to get to become a real good rivalry..I think Colorado has to win more games against NU and both teams have to be in the top 25 consistantly for this to become a classic rival...right now it's just teams beating each other up, normal Big 12 rival, kinda like a CSU/CU thing...

Ahh ahh, no more Red.... LOL, I'm still haunted because I was at the recent CU/NU game sitting in the Red section, ahh too much!!

haha just playing, that's a good crowd, really geniune people..I literally sat in the middle of the NU section with Red next to me, in front of me, and behind me and didn't get hassled or harassed once, actually got into a good conversation with one of those Corn and had a good laugh about the student section with another..

All I ask is that we keep this RED to a minimum, okay? haha

Norman is that way too because we have no pro teams. I think that the Nebraska fans might be a little more faithful because I remember during our John Blake debacle I was able to get tickets at my high school for $5. I also remember being able to walk down and get a better seat because they were empty. They would still bring in around 70,000 but nothing like it is right now. I am number 12,660 on the season ticket waiting list. My wait is expected to be 7 years they said. I have only been to one OU/NU game, the 2000 one. Nebraska fans alway get down to Norman by thursday and stay til sunday. They are some of the classiest fans ever.

WOW...thats thing thing....I can't stand Husker football, just sickens me, but I can respect stuff like that, great fan base whether they're 13-0 or 7-5, those fans will always be there...

I think Huskers are a good team, but I don't think they will go out and be dominate as they once were next season...This year belongs to OU, pretty safe bet considering AD is healthy, their passing game improved, and D is always solid...

Yeah you should drive around our streets during the college season. Everything is white and red. Flags everywhere people painting their cars and putting banners/liscense plates. Since we dont have pro sports people go a little overboard with the Huskers. But its all fun because they are a great team.

Huskers have to play both USC and Texas this season. Luckily USC just lost a ton of guys and Vince is out of Texas now. This will also be our 3rd season with the new coach and changed from a strictly run team to a passing team so I feel this year or next year will be the break out year. They have all the recruits that our new coach has brought in comming up now to be starters rather than having all the running team recruits trying to play our new west coast offense.
