  • Adam Carriker- Nebraska DE

Look for this guy to be possibly one of the best DEs in the Nation next year.

    At 6'6'' 295 lbs, Carriker runs a 4.68 40

Last year he led the Huskers in sacks (9.5) who also led the Nation for most sacks for a team.

    Go Huskers.

I remember last year at the spring game I told my friends that Carriker was going to have a break out year. He was hungry after the last two years with injuries. Now he seems even hungrier: added fifteen pounds of muscle and dropped his 40 time to 4.68

With Carriker returning, Moore at the other end and Dugunduro and Cryer in the middle(I think they are better than Smith and Adams) our front line is going to be sick.

Plus with the linebacking core that we have I am salivating at what our defence can do this year.

I know. Mark my words, we will have a top 5 D next year. Look for us to be leaders in sacks, too.
      Go Huskers.

I can just see him coming around the corner with a small running back trying to block him. He hammers the RB into the QB and they both fall down .
P.S. How about Cody Glenn so far? Baby Earl is right on!!

Sweet another Husker fan? I will be excited for Cody next year. If he had the athletic ability of Lucky, or if Lucky grew a brain, we would be a force at the run, again.
          Go Huskers.

Ahh ahh, no more Red.... LOL, I'm still haunted because I was at the recent CU/NU game sitting in the Red section, ahh too much!!

haha just playing, that's a good crowd, really geniune people..I literally sat in the middle of the NU section with Red next to me, in front of me, and behind me and didn't get hassled or harassed once, actually got into a good conversation with one of those Corn and had a good laugh about the student section with another..

All I ask is that we keep this RED to a minimum, okay? haha

Well a DE that is going to get a lot of attention this year is OU's Larry Birdine. This guy is a monster. Had a freak torn biceps injury that shelled him for the season last year (1 week before the season!) His sophomore season he had 11 tackles for loss and 7 sacks, and he didnt even start! He was behind Dan Cody and Jonathan Jackson (who both play in the NFL now). Im sure this kid will be a first team all big 12 and concidered for all-america honors. I wish we played nebraska again in the regular season, but it looks like we will have to wait until the big 12 title game.

Yeah right. Nobody will even mention your huskers unless somebody talks about the independence bowl.
