No it is not the only response you have made. It was, however completely unproductive.

How am I being a hypocrite? If my reply to you keeps you from making any other ridiculous statements then it was very productive. Why do you choose to attack the entire state of Oklahoma? I've not made fun of Nebraska. Perhaps I took offense to your statement.

This thread began as a discussion of Nebraska spring football. It evolved into a comparison between the OU and Nebraska football teams. How in the world
"Oklahoma just needs to be taken off the map and given to Canada or something."
even remotely fits into this conversation or is necessary is beyond me.

Nebraska's new quarter with the Sooner Schooner running right over the state of Nebraska. A sign of things to come? =)

How does anything about OU have to do with Nebraska spring practice? You are being a hypocrite by posting stuff now two different times that has nothing to do with the thread but talking trash about how I posted something in the same form. If you are offended and you believe a thread shouldn't be taken off topic there is always the private message feature. Do not tell me how my post is bad for going off topic when you are doing the same. If you take offense to an internet post you should probably not be on the internet anyways. People usually make them jokingly and I was assuming that we where all mature enough to understand this on these forums. Oklahoma and Nebraska have always been a great rivalry and I love watching them play eachother especially when they are both doing good. There is still the fact that I hate seeing Nebraska lose so I still will have some freindly crap talking about Oklahoma considering they are one of the few schools that has been able to rival Nebraska for many years even in the glory days.

Now please just get over yourself and dont start trying to make personal attacks.

I wasn't criticizing Taylor.......I though he played admirabley.
Wasn't Lucky supposed to be the next AD? *smile*

Look, we ALL know that the offense is only as good as the Oline.....and OU's was NOT good last year. It took most of the year to finally figure out who played when/where. Between that and AD getting injured, 8-4 (s/b 9-3) isn't so bad.
This year, the Oline has hopefully gotten stronger, with the addition of some Juco players, and youngsters from last year. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
As for AD, by all accounts, I hear he's actually Faster and Stronger! Again, guess we'll find out soon enough.

The whole NU thing has just been ironic.....

Who'da thunk that, while they are going through some rebuilding, retooling, that the rest of the Big XII would be at it's weakest, sans Texass? If this had
happened any other time, NU would have been lucky to end up .500........
He never said they were a horrible team, he said they are horrible on offense.

Lucky was a Freshman this year on a team with a horrible o-line. He was never supposed to be the next AP (AD?)...

After losing two people on the o-line, what makes you think they will be better? Plus, your WR has gone down a notch after losing Travis Wilson. Yes, yes I know Kelley is the greatest thing since as sliced bread, so no need to push that further.

What makes you think OU would have been any better if the Big 12 hadn't have been weak?
        Go Huskers.

AD = ALL DAY! Though you'd know that....

Like I said, they've got some highly sought after Juco's coming in, PLUS the freshmen that got playing time last year.....followed by "guess we'll find out soon enough".

And in case you didn't notice, Travis didn't do jack last year, as he was hurt, and then slow in getting caught up with the freshmen. His big year was when Clayton was still there, getting the #1 defenders........

And I wasn't saying anything about OU's play vs the Big XII's.......maybe you should re-read that sentence.....

Well, just who, exactly, is in the middle of a new coaching staff, scheme, etc.?

              I'd call that rebuilding......wouldn't you?

It's not like it's USC we're talking about, in top 5 every year in recruiting....and they just "reload".

I wasn't too big to admit OU was going through rebuilding years.....over/over....until they got Stoops.

Try it.......you'll sleep better at night>

NU isn't exactly rebuilding this year. They have a strong core of players returning in 2006. Are they still learning, yes.Hey lets face it the kids are only 18-23 years old. Everybody that plays in the WCO in college is still learning the system. Thats includes everybody at USC.Thats just the way it is.

that's not the point, an 8-4 team is an 8-4 team (barring any major injuries/SOS differences).

                    Maybe the year after.....

...but counting wins against the likes of Maine, Wake, Pitt, Kansas St. & Colo, with losses to the likes of Kansas & Missouri, shouldn't be anything to 'brag' about.

And to think.....the coach this numbskull replaced was 9-3 (?) his last year......

Alright, if you think OU was marginally better last year even though our strength of schedule was practically the same, our record was the same, and you only beat us by a TD, then I don't understand you logic...

Nothing last year but Nebraska is going to win a lot more now that the coach has his team playing. I was just getting excited and pre-celebrating.

LOL....nothing wrong with faith in your team. Whether it's blind or not(both for OU or Nebraska fans) remains to be seen. Here's to a all Big Red Big XII championship!!!!

Yeah I doubt either teams wins the national title or anything but now Nebraska gets to see what they paid for in the coach. He has to start winning now that he has his players starting instead of the option guys trying to play this west coast stuff. If he doesn't have a real good year though he will most likely get fired like all the other Husker coaches that dont win. I wish we could get Tom back.
