Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Alright, if you think OU was marginally better last year even though our strength of schedule was practically the same, our record was the same, and you only beat us by a TD, then I don't understand you logic...
OU - Strength of Schedule - #1
Huskers - #36
....."practically the same"?
Did you forget that TCU was a darling of the NCAA last year?
I doubt they'd beat out OU in a best of 3, but they were pretty good last year.
Maine? I didn't even know they fielded a football team before last year......
Like I said in an earlier post.....it's OK to admit your team is in a rebuilding mode....and hasn't been a contender for some time.....
LOL....nothing wrong with faith in your team. Whether it's blind or not(both for OU or Nebraska fans) remains to be seen. Here's to a all Big Red Big XII championship!!!!

Yeah I doubt either teams wins the national title or anything but now Nebraska gets to see what they paid for in the coach. He has to start winning now that he has his players starting instead of the option guys trying to play this west coast stuff. If he doesn't have a real good year though he will most likely get fired like all the other Husker coaches that dont win. I wish we could get Tom back.
Nothing last year but Nebraska is going to win a lot more now that the coach has his team playing. I was just getting excited and pre-celebrating.

...but counting wins against the likes of Maine, Wake, Pitt, Kansas St. & Colo, with losses to the likes of Kansas & Missouri, shouldn't be anything to 'brag' about.
And to think.....the coach this numbskull replaced was 9-3 (?) his last year......

that's not the point, an 8-4 team is an 8-4 team (barring any major injuries/SOS differences).
Maybe the year after.....
