  • Jimmy Clausen signs with...

This guy is a QB that is coming out for nest year's class and is said to be the best QB prospect since John Elway. Many people think he would have been the #1 overall recruit this year and he is going to be it next year. Clausen has thrown 88 TDs and only 11 INTs in his two years of starting so far.

Jimmy Clausen is going to.... Notre Dame.

Oh, and BTW it was reported by ESPN.

Congratulations Irish fans on getting a great QB. Shows that ND will be very good in the coming years and man has Charlie Weis turned the program around rapidly AND they have great recruiting.

Well when they announced it on ESPN they said it was a verbal commitment, so it doesn't completely mean he is set for ND. Some players have a verbal commitment and then go elsewhere.

My bad for not including that in the first post.

No offense, but doesn't it seem like every year ND gets a player that is supposedly ''guaranteed'' to be a HOF'er? And it seems like they never turn out...

I figured that buffs fans would hate Notre Dame, especially after those Orange Bowls they played each other in.

Well considering they played each other back to back and Notre Dame took the first one and CU took the second one, thats not hurting my feelings... Kinda weird though, I grew up in Colorado obviously becoming a Buff fan, but always followed the Irish (I dunno, something about the whole Catholic thing) or maybe because they were always on NBC and you could always watch them...lol..

Yeah I think thats why I hated Notre Dame more when I was growing up. They were on TV every single week, even when they were playing Navy. In my younger days, you could only watch the Sooners like 3-4 times per year on TV, and I lived in Norman! Now its a different story, but it must be nice to have a network cover all of your games(and keep all of that bowl money). Only Notre Dame.

Wow, thats pretty amazing..only 3-4 times in a 11 game season? That is un heard of... but really when it comes down to it, if Colorado was going to go against ND, it's gotta be the Buffs... but I support the Irish most of the time, just not when they're playing my Buffs...

I'm a Tennessee fan and i was really hoping he would go there cause his brothers did. If he is anything like his brothers he wont be in the NFL cause they sucked. He made the right choice tho because weis will make him one of the best QBs ever. look what he did with tom brady turned a 6th round pick into a hall of famer and turned brady quinn from a late rounder to a legit top 10 pick. The only thing claussen doesnt have going for him right now is that his name doesnt have brady in it.

Casey claussen started all 4 years and never got better if anything i think he got worse. he was "suppose" to be peyton manning like but he didnt even get drafted. Last i heard he was coaching some where. the Rick Claussen started a few games last year as a SR. he came from LSU but wouldnt have played if Ange played like he did in his freshman year. Both came with high expectations and ended up flopps. I did hear something on ESPN that both said that Jimmy is better now then they ever were.
