Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I don't care if we have been down this road. I will start listening to you when you stop being a homer.
Anyways, I have my opinion on them and I already stated it. I watched a lot of their games last year because I love watching Adrien Peterson and I think he is one of the most exciting nfl prospects in a long time. I saw what they could and couldn't do and formed my opinion. You guys telling me different won't change my mind since my opinion didn't come from hearing about it.
wow....going from using me as an example as far as posting about the sooners, to calling me "a homer"......
.....that would be somebody that thinks the fuskers will win the big 12.
I can appreciate your watching them last year.....but don't think you're the only one. But to sit back and claim they have a weakness in the receiver corp and Bomar isn't any good is just plain silly.

Well, show me a line that has. You hardly ever have a full returning line in college, and it's up to the coaches to gel the returners with the newcomers, whether they're jucos and/or frosh.
I'm not about to prophesize that OU's Oline will be as good as it was when Q was running the ball, or AD was in his freshman year, but they SHOULD be head/shoulders better than last year's, after the preseason games are over with.
They'll be battle tested, because everybody will be wanting to stop AD, and making Bomar beat them. If Bomar shines, and the Oline gels......watchout!
I'm not even going to touch on the D......
....nor will any O, for that matter.

Until the season starts, I'm just not convinced that OU's line is up to snuff.
They lost Davin Joseph, some other starter, and one of their up-and-coming o-lineman (name escapes me) transfered to NU.
Anything can happen...hell, Bomar could look like Elway, for all we know.

I have said over and over that it is mostly the o-line and you don't even mention that part. Yes, Bomar also. Both of those will factor in and you receivers wont even matter because they will never have the ball thrown to them. I don't think the sooners have any better of a chance than the Huskers this year. The Huskers got ranked at the end of the year because they started actually playing football again. Now they are looking good and the big 12 got a lot weaker this season.
To sit back and claim that either the QB or o-line is even decent is very silly.

You saying that bomar is bad is like me saying notre dame has a good defense.
Both are opposites
Notre dame and Ohio state both have no defenses now. ohio state lost almost their entire defense.

I don't really get where you are going with the defenses remarks... I never said either had a good defense. I have only said the truth. From what he did last season Bomar is bad and the o-line is for sure bad.
Oklahoma starting QB Rhett Bomar and guard J.D. Quinn will not play for the Sooners this season following an investigation into extra payments for a job, ESPN's Doug Gottlieb confirmed Wednesday.
