Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

But we were playing 11 true freshmen. 2nd most in the NCAA. And we still won 8 games.
How many True Freshmen were you playing last year?
Did you guys lose your starting QB, 4 of your top 5 WR, 3 of your best O-lineman, Your 2 starting DE's, MLB, 2 starting safeties, and 1 starting CB after the 2004 season and still go 8-4 the next year?¿

I don't think so.
We were in our 2nd year of attemptin the WCO with option players, with the exception of Zac Taylor. Our LB core was out at one point, too. If you'd have noticed, this hit us right when we started to go down.

These players were not even in their 2nd year! They were true freshmen.
Our best DE was injured the entire season with a torn bicep. And our top 2 Center's broke their were injured when one broke his leg and one broke his hand. But the one with the broken hand still played because it wasn't his snapping hand.

This is my last post in this forum for awhile...
In case you didn't notice, we were 5-1 before our string of injuries occurred. That shows alot about how much that affected our team.
Once again, we were running a system with the wrong players, that's a little worse than having a few players banged up.

Well, if you were 5-1 before the injuries, then the injuries hurt you guys more than the changing of the system.
We were 2-3 at the start of the season and finished 8-4. That shows how much we improved at the end of the season, which should carry on into next year.
Records aren't the end-all to whether or not 2 teams are 'just as good' as each other.
