We'll see how that CB turns out. When you have the top DTs coming to your school 2 years in a row, I think your DTs will be pretty good.

I'm not sure, but was Dvoracek the #1 rated DT in high school?¿
I don't think he was, but he could have been.

My last comment was meant to mean,''I'm getting tired of this argument, why don't just wait 'til the season starts.''
      Go Huskers.

The argument is much more fun when you are winning the argument.

We got our QB for next year officially now. Keller is comming in on Friday on a 2 year scolarship. He will not even be allowed to play this year due to the rules of transferring but he will be the starter next season. He is a pretty good QB and I was glad to hear it even though we only get him for the one season, at least it will give us time to look for another QB recruit that is good.

How do you know he'll be the starter?
            I'll lmao if Ganz is.
All I know, is I'm glad OU didn't waste 2 scholarships on a possible 1yr player

Glad to see NU has their very own Lelie......

You do know that he was highly touted by OU, right?

The fact that he amassed more yards in half a season than Bomar did in one should be reason alone to want him.

I'm already LMAO that you have no one else better to start than Paul Thompson.
              Go Huskers.

Really is nothing to note about that since we went after NO high profile qb's with Bomar being as young as he is.

Sam Keller is a good qb, but I dont know about great. The thing I don't like about him and that I would worry about is that he stands in the pocket like a freakin statue. He doesnt move around at all and I don't think he can throw well on the run. I seriously thought he was a monument when they were playing USC and he was in the pocket. He is that still. He does have a pretty good arm though.

Well it is a good thing we don't still run the option then huh.. A statue is fine in our west coast offense and even if he doesn't work out he is only here for a year of elligable play. I am sure the only reason they brought him in is so they can bring in another all star recruit next season and let him have time to learn the offense before playing.

Well, true that. It's definitely a lot better to hand it to a senior for a year than to struggle through growing pains with a freshman.

                      you related to jns?
Evidently neither of you understand the difference between a FRESHMAN and an upperclassman.

And just because OU showed interest, doesn't mean anything, other than maybe they TOO couldn't see wasting 2 scholarships on a POSSIBLE 1 yr player.

Yeah.....too bad for the other QB's that were told by callahan that they'd be playing, right?
They just picked up a "highly touted' juco qb for next year.....

...sounds to me like callahan doesn't have the ability to bring up a qb from within, and has to resort to juco's to do the job for him.

Maybe, since he's the common denominator between the huskers/raiders, that HE'S the stupidest. :idiot:

First off, the whole ''age'' thing is getting old. Taylor is barely a year older than Bomar. Do you honestly think any of the QB's on your roster would have numbers even close to Taylor's if they played behind his line, with his WR's, and his RB's?

Why do you keep downing us on getting Keller? I guarantee you would be stoked as hell to have a QB like that playing for you in 07-08.
                          Go Huskers.

I would to tell the truth. I'm not gonna lie. I think Keller would have a better chance of winning a NC if he came here though, and he would no doubt be the starter for us next year.

Too bad he would have no O-line and no RB.

How do you know about our line next year? All of our line is young and gelling, so where is this fact coming from? Also, Demarco Murray is going to be a rising star and is going to get some time on the field. Again, I dont know where you get this, but its wrong.
