  • Michael Bush hurt

He just got carted off the field, and appears to have a knee injury. This could kill Louisville's season, and effectively remove Bush from the 1st round, or at least the top 15, of the NFL draft.

    Damn....

Well, I suppose he could be McGahee II if his knee is seriously hurt. What a bummer though.

He was having such a great game, too. 124 yards and 3 TDs just in the first half before this injury on his 2nd carry of the 3rd quarter.

Preliminary reports are a broken leg.

Apparently it's a broken leg...at least that's what I'm seeing in another thread.

Well, I bet it depends on what type of break it is, but DeAngleo Williams looks fine after breaking his leg a year ago.

I wonder which is worse? ACL or broken leg?

Ouch. That sucks. I heard nothing but good things about this guy too.

I would have to go with ACL.

All those cuts get MUCH harder.

                That's what I'm thinking.

How extreme did the injury look? Did his leg clearly bend in half or something? I'm no expert or anything, but if it's just a small break or a fracture he should come out fine...probably even make the combine.

Bones can heal completely. Ligaments can't. So if there's one thing Bush can be happy about, it's that his season-ending injury isn't career threatening.

You couldn't really see what happened to the leg itself aside from that it was crushed by a Kentucky lineman.

It's official, he's out for the season. As if we didn't assume that already.
