  • Oklahoma vs. Oregon

This is a big matchup but is overshadowed by a number of huge games this weekend. Hopefully the Big XII will win both games against the Pac 10 this week.

Adrian Peterson is off to a better start than ever, and will shred the Oregon D. OU's quarterback play has been average to just above it.

I watched Oregon play Fresno and they needed a fake field goal to win it late.

Their defense looks like trash, but their qb is real mobile. Also their running game looks somewhat decent so I expect a great game mainly because Autzen is a real tough place to play.

holy ****, If NU beat SC and y'all beat Oregon.

We would have to get a nod as the best conference.

    Where's the UO game at?

It's in Corvalis, which is a really really tough place to play. There is a lot of noise there, even when Oregon is an average team.

        damn, we're both away.

If you win, and we get within 1-2 TD's, we'll earn more respect.

I thought OSU was in Corvalis and the Ducks play in Eugene. Regardless, it is a very tough place to play and OU better bring their A game, especially if it's raining

Eh, Oregon looked impressive their first week, looked solid their second week and we'll see on the third week....

I do see the Sooner wagon rolling on this one though...as long as they feed AD the ball, they'll be fine! As soon as Oregon starts packing the box, Thompson and those WRs are capable of getting big plays...
fight u dwn the fied..cu must win.. fight fight fr Victoy..cu knows no defet! so roll up the mighty score, Never Give in!!...shouler to shulder we will FIGHT..FIGHT ... FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

Maybe Bob will steal the playbook from Schotty.....

              ....48 running plays

              ....11 passes.

I'm somewhat disgruntled, to tell you the truth.

First off, I am, and will always be, a sooner.

But what has happened to their Defense?

For years, their pass D has been suspect, especially on the long ball...

...but this year, their run D sucks. They're giving up 135+yards on the ground, and that's against out-of-conference foes....not that Washington is a Div IAA team......

              Where's Granger? McCoy?

If they aren't careful, they'll have a worse record this year than last....

C'mon, Brent! Wake up the sleeping Giant!!!!!!

How has OU looked so far this season? I haven't kept up on them at all. I don't even know who they are starting at QB now... Is the offense still moving? I can already guess that the defense is good. It is just a matter of them getting passing production enough to complement the run.

Ive watched them here and there (secondary games to my Buffs/Irish ) .. But AD is a beast, we all knew that...the WR's are pretty sick and Thompson has the "capabilty" of throwing to the WRs, but hes a little eratic..as soon as he calms down and hits the open sick WRs, offense will be dangerous...

Defense wise, they're not terrible, they seem to be in the right position most of the time, but they were missing tackles like crazy when I watched them...

I'm more worried about our defense than our offense. Wow, I never thought I'd say that.

Thompson is playing like I thought he would. Good but not great. The last game he was doing awesome though. The interception he had was because of the o-line. He got hit when he was throwing it and the ball went straight into a defenders hands. I want him to run more though.

this game could start a ball of fire burning for OU.the two games before this have been sloppy played on the D side for sure.i think the sence of entitlement that stoops talked about.it has been displayed,he didn't like it when he first seen it and i'm sure it's not liked by him now.the tackleing being displayed in the UAB game carried over into the first half of the UW game.the secoundary has looked fine.now even better that D.J.Woulfe has been sat down.i think more of that sence of entitlement has been taken out.the offense hasn't looked to bad for a WR playing QB.the O-line must open holes for AD .also AD must hit the hole and also trust the hole will be there.it hurts the run game when AD gets to the line and then turns and tries to take it outside and goes for zero yards.he did that in the UCLA game last year.i seen him do that last week against UW.if the SOONERS pound the ball and pound the ball.paul connects on some timely passes.if this defense plays like us SOONER fans know they can look at the second half of the huskies game.they will leave oregan with a victory.this could be big for those players on our team that have that sence of entitlement .those players know who they are.i don't want to make a prediction 'cause i thought OU would steam roll UAB,UW and i also thought BRONCOS would take care of the rams.we seen what happened there.i'll say let's go SOONERS!!!!!!!!!!.
elway going to save the broncos again.yes!

Well, they ARE tackling like crap....

...reminding me of the chefs, which is a :nono: !

I better see some improvement this week, or the red river shootout will be a duck shoot.... :brick:
