I was just watching a Cherry Creek vs. Mullen game. Jack Elway did make a great play at the start, but not much since. The Mullen QB is really good though, and he has a great receiver for him

From what I here, Jack Elway isn't anything special. Unless he displays a great deal of improvement, I would be surprised if CU shows him any interest whatsoever.

From what I read Jack Elway has a damn good arm, but doesn't know how to use it. Personally, I don't care one way or the other.

He can't be worse than the stiff's CU has right now!

Btw, they'll have the coaches kid playing next year. He'll be a RS frosh. So he's got another 4 years of eligibilty starting next season......

    Apparently he's pretty good.

he's only gotten where he is because of his last name.

I would rather not have him on my team, if I were a Buffs fan.

It would almost seem more like a gimmick than anything.

Cherry Creek has a good football program, but making it to the NFL is another story

Mullen's Clint Brewster is probably the top QB in Colorado followed by Mountain Vista's Danny Beck, Keiffer Garton of Douglas County, then Jack Elway. Klay Kubiak might be better then Jack Elway also, but Brewster, Kubiak, and Elway have targets on their backs in every game.

He could with hard offseason workouts, but I just don't believe his arm will ever be good enough to make it in college let alone the NFL. Everyone outside of Cherry Creek thinks that he should switch positions. But it sucks for him because every game he has a huge target on his back, and everyone, i mean everyone wants to hit him as hard as they possibly can.

I saw some highlights and wasn't too impressed.

Do you think he'll get any better?

Why in the world would he go to CU if he plans to make it big in the NFL

started a topic Jack Elway To Colorado?

    Jack Elway To Colorado?

If you don't know, John's son Jack is a Jr. at Cherry Creek HS in Denver....the criticism of CU in the past is that they have not successfully kept the in-state kids....can Dan Hawkins and his wide-open Offense interest young Jack?

If I were Hawkins, I would be buying my cars from Elways dealerships...
Working...
