I have to tell you, I was completely surprised. OState won like 41-29, but it was really 41-22 because that last touchdown with like 2 seconds was just garbage. Either Nebraska is really overrated or OSU is a dangerous team with no defense. I hope they go down and beat texas next week, the longhorns have been skating by lately.

I was at the game.
I'll tell you, I thought we'd win, but in the back of my mind, I thought we might have a bit of a hangover.
Their strength was our weakness. We have little CB's that miraculously made it out of HS football, and they have big, strong WR's. It didn't help one bit that we gave up after Purify tip-toed in for that TD with roughly a minute left. Our kick coverage sucked, as always, but there were a few times that I could've sworn there were holds. That was completely pathetic how we gave up that TD right before half. That's when I knew it would be a long ride home.
The stadium was rocking, too. I now realize how much of an advantage homefield really is.
Thank you for beating Mizz. Sorry we couldn't return the favor last week.
However, less than 2 TD's is hardly getting ''pounded.''Go Huskers.Comment

The "pounding" that I was more or less referring to was how well OState ran the ball. But come on, that last TD was garbage.
I will tell you that Mizzou killed themselves in that game as much as anything with their turnovers and penalties, so watch out bro. If they get hot early, they could be trouble.

sorry, nicky, but hahahahahahahaha
I'll tell you, after watching the 'fuskers run down the throats in the first quarter, I turned the tv off, thinking it'd be a runaway.....
...until I walked by a tv later and it was 27-23 OSU......
And I'd say YES, it WAS a pounding......just giving up 41pts with that "top defense" makes it that.
As far as the Mizzou game goes, I was never worried......I've been listening to their sports radio station all season long talk about how "this is the year".....
...but isn't it ironic how they can only play 'great football' against the sucky teams, but get beat by the better teams?
I honestly don't think they will beat NU......which is too bad, because now, by default of not having any decent teams in the north, crappy callahan will get to the Big 12 Championship game."It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate,

I've been to several Missouri vs Nebraska games, and they were always and I mean ALWAYS so BORING, well for at least the last 20 years about. Never did I think we'd see NU get whooped by MU, but....
I want to go back to the big eight conference, but that's not going to happen.
I want Bob Devany back, but that's not going to happen either. I'd take Tom Osborne back prior to the last five years of his coaching time.
RC - Define "pounded" though. Hardly is a 4pt spread a pounding. Yet, we should have played better with OK ST.
Outside of that, my heart still lies with this college team. Nothing is as electric as sitting in a Nebraska game with all the fans and blinding red in the stadium.
