Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Great job by Rutgers! But this is the reason the NCAAF needs a playoff system. That Rutgers defense looked scary and I bet some of the powerhouses out there are glad they don't have to play them.

Nah, match them up with a Ohio State, SC, or Michigan, they won't be able to stop them... Louisville manhandled them in the first half, they just toughened up in the second half, wasn't THAT impressive...
fight u dwn the fied..cu must win.. fight fight fr Victoy..cu knows no defet! so roll up the mighty score, Never Give in!!...shouler to shulder we will FIGHT..FIGHT ... FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

We'll never know. But I still think a playoff system would be a benefit to see what the big conferences do against these one- year- wonder teams. They may rip them a new one or maybe a team like Rutgers could upset. Anyhow, from where Rutgers was two years ago to now is a great accomplishment and I'm not even a fan of theirs.

Oh defintely, Im not completely opposed to the playoff system...the ideal would be a 4 team playoff system, the max would be a 6 team playoff system... It would be nice to see something like Ohio State vs Florida, Michigan vs SC/ND?, and the winner of that playing for the national title... I don't have a problem with that...
And it is very impressive, its weird seeing a team like Rutgers winning...Just like Baylor, they are the teams that we are use to see losing..but everybody is changing things around and what happeend to Florida State and Miami? lol wow things have changed...

You were right BF 303, Rutgers was a one hit wonder and the Ohio State's of the NCAA would destroy them. Maybe Louisville just had an off game. Beaten by Cincy must be a slap in the face for them.

Thanks... and I had that feeling about Cincy, they're a tough team, especially at home...they hung in right there with Ohio State when they played them...
I saw right thru Rutgers and this Big East thing, don't be shocked if you see Rutgers beat West Virgina either...they compete well against each other, but with the depth and talent of the Ohio States and Michigans, they won't be able to compete...
Remember when WV beat Georgia last year? How'd Georgia do this year? they were a roller coaster...escaping Colorado by 1, pounding Auburn, lost to Vandy at home ... just shows you everybody has off games..
maybe I'm not giving Big East teams enough credit, but I just never bought into their hype...
