Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Man. Joe Pa has been there forever! Peen St has been falling off the past few years! Wicked hit. I don't know but I just like the guy! Don't know if he can coach anymore but thats a different issue.

I can't watch that replay...I just can't. I'll heave my stomach contents all over the place...
I looked away when they showed it on Saturday, but looked back and saw his knee literally bending backwards while he was standing. I got all nauseous and had to sit down.
I was there!! It didn't look like anything really dangerous, it just looked like a whole bunch of people on the sideline fell down....except one of the people falling down was a 79-year old.

He should not retire because of this.
He should retire when HE wants to, and not a second sooner.
riiight, just like favre....look who thats working outfor the packers...aron rodgers=waste of a draft pick...they could have got someone they actually planned on playing with that pick and saved the QB pick for later

You are comparing a pro player to a college coach?
Apples and oranges.
You don't draft coaches, and they have a much longer shelf life, and his contributions ot other aspects of the university, outside of sports, have no direct comparison to a pro player.
Also, a knee injury to a coach should have no bearing on his ability to coach.
I mean, it wasn't that bad. I remember seeing that guy from Alabama or something last year that snapped his leg in half. Now that was disgusting. This just looked painful as all get out.
Kudos to him for getting up and trying to continue. Just goes to show ya, you can take the player out of football, but you can't take the football out of the player.
