but ive noticed that if your a girl you seem to get more Cps.

theres girls with like 3000 posts who have captain Status

Dont want to offend anyone but i kind of find that funny and then some people Make Great posts who are Males and are still benchwarmers and stuff

I think you will find that a majority of the posters who were here before or during the implemation of the CP all feel the same - along with the people who truly understand the purpose of CP's - as mentioned above -

I will never be a mod - it may take me another 3 years to reach Capt - personally I dont care - but asking for CP's just isnt right - its just not - if we have to explain above and beyond what has already been explained you prolly wont get it - its more of a personal feeling among us than anything else, I guess - it has a lot to do with the fact that we think that CP's have more to do with love and respect for another posters post than just a "PLEASE give me one"

You know I love everyone - well almost everyone - LOL - here so its nothing personal - so please dont take it that way - but try and see it from our point of view and understand why we feel the way we do and maybe try and have just a tad bit of respect for the people who made the boards what they are and continue to maintain them the way they do - and the fact that its all voluntary and they do it for the love of the broncos and their fans -

Dude it all depends on timing and the poster - some posters have few but all very very good posts that they rcv several CP's for - some of us have a ton of posts and not so many CP's cuz some of us - well lets just say half of our posts came b4 CP's and as a result of a few certain threads thats ask lots of questions, esp to those below you

Thats a lame post coming from you - it really is...did you ever think maybe us women have something to contribute to the boards - that some of us actually know what we are talking about - its a distinct possibility -

yea ive got pms from other bets b4 and some guy said Dont forget to pay me!

i can only CP 5 ppl during a 24 hour span tho!

and there was like 13 ppl i needed to pay or so.

so he couldnt wait 72 hours

It's not only the captains who think it's wrong, many members are heading that direction, it's just the captains can neg but others cannot. There's been so many threads of various kinds begging or hinting for cp's, when many members believe it was intended to be based on 'earning' those with quality posting, good interactions with fellow members, being respectful of the system, and so on. The board has been 'flooded' with these threads and posts. The negging system was created to help balance out the board.

Why is begging necessary? Maybe it seems harmless enough to start out with and all in good fun, but in the end...if it's causing a lot of hard feelings on the board and those who beg get negged frequently, then maybe begging is not the best approach to receiving cp's?

I'm one who doesn't believe in begging or hinting to get cp's, but I have no negging ability, even more for rudeness though, because that's destructive and not constructive on the board. Otherwise...I probably would neg posters for it as well, but I'm a long ways off still.
