because the wise people of the NCAA would rather have controversy every year to draw attention to their sport....what they dont know though is with every years controvery the BCS just seems to get more and more discredited

Because the current format would likely be much more profitable to the NCAA than a playoff format.

That's the ONLY thing keeping it away at this point...

But Boise St. still beat everyone on their schedule, therefore they deserve the chance to play agaisnt a harder opponent just to see exactly how good they are.

I don't agree with that. Yes, Oklahoma is a good team, but they are probably best suited opponent for Boise State. In my opinion, I think Boise St. really has a chance to win this game, not just make it close.
