Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Thats what makes it baffling...was it another murder or suicide? Who knows, its just a real bummer...
Watching the Dwill funeral was hard enough, its just horrible!
fight u dwn the fied..cu must win.. fight fight fr Victoy..cu knows no defet! so roll up the mighty score, Never Give in!!...shouler to shulder we will FIGHT..FIGHT ... FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!
This is going to make it even harder to watch football next year. Not having Williams in our secondary on Sundays anymore and then not having our good, reliable humble kicker wearing #19 on Saturdays anymore... its so hard to actually say what you want when things happen like this. just speechless i guess. it's the worst thing a fan can go through. Forget losing games... losing a player's life is not even comparable to that....
I just heard he was found dead at the bottom of a cliff do u guys have any details?
I heard that on the news as well....very sad indeed.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
Mario Danello, USC Kicker was found dead at his home, or at the bottom of a rocky cliff according to police, how, yet to be determined, Danello led USC in scoring this year with 89 points, he was only 21 years old, couldn't find a direct report, but anyway, another player's life has ended..terrible..
R.I.P. Mario Danello 1986-2007
He also set the NCAA record in 2004 with most extra points in a season with 83.
I was blown away that a handful of people died falling off the cliff where he died. It has to be an accident. I hope he wasnt drunk or whatnot!
Yeah I gotta tell you all this has been one heckuva way to start the New Year. I mean I follow three teams passionately (Broncos, USC and the Dodgers) and two of them have had a young player tragically die in the last few days. I am still at a loss for words over DW and now this happens.I heard about this the night it happened and its taken this long for me to muster up the courage to come on here and read about it.
As a member of the Trojan family, I thank you all for your support and prayers. I didn't know Mario personally but, like all members of our extended family, I feel like I have lost a part of me (again) this week.

That is how I was feeling when I first heard the news. This has been a terrible year so far.
