That was great D from the line of the gators and great game for leak taking what he was given.

Troy Smith never looked Reggie Nelson's way the entire game and shut down a whole area of the field.

but throwing towards lewis and smith is difficult alone with both on one side.

Gators played so well. This just goes to show you can never count a team out. Also, the SEC IS the best conference in football. Personally, I am a Texas Longhorns die-hard. Hook 'Em Baby. I do think though that the SEC is a little above every other conference in football. It has a strong division all the way through.

I also think that the layoff hurt OSU. Another reason why we should go to a playoff. An 8 team playoff would be perfect but that is for the NCAA to decide, not me.

Also the main reason for SEC teams records is from them beating up on eachother. It is a very strong conference.

Ohio State fan here. The Buckeyes were in la la land all night it appeared. Especially on defense. Geez, the two corners were constantly 20-30 yards away from the line of scrimmage. HELLO! The entire team seemed out of it. 51 days since they played Michigan I think they said. That is a long time sitting around but no excuses.

I must say I did not even picture Ohio State ending up like this. Here I thought Florida might have some struggles against them.

But now that I look at it, and this is no offense to you as a fan but, if you look at the way USC handled Michigan....and then look back at the Ohio State-Michigan game maybe we should have paid closer attention to it.

The Rose Bowl proved that Michigan wasn't nearly as good as everyone thought and they obviously didn't deserve to play Ohio State in the National Title.

However, after watching Florida thrash Ohio State, maybe it was OSU that didn't deserve to play Florida? Wow....who'd have thought?

Maybe it should have been USC-Florida after all....even though I don't agree that USC deserved a shot because they lost to Oregon State and UCLA...

OR....and I don't think you want to hear this but maybe it should have been Boise State-Ohio State or Boise State-Florida.

Now I'm not going to be an idiot and say that I think BSU would have throttled both of them...no way. I do believe we could have held our own (especially against OSU now that I've seen the end result of that game). Florida could be a different story.

However, it still remains that there's only one undefeated team left. And I will even admit I still can't believe it's Boise State!!!!! YES!!!!

And unfortunately it doesn't matter if they play again because they already played the one that mattered, and Florida won it outright.

No offense taken. OSU stunk up the joint no doubt. It was down right embarrassing really.

They did comment about how OSU should not have given the opportunity to play for the National Champsionship but it is difficult for the BCS to NOT allow them to attempt to win it since they were ranked #1 and were undefeated.

Everyone knows the BCS is far from perfect. I understand a playoff type scenario may enter into it eventually. Don't know the whole story on that.
