Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Hey now, my Penn State Nitany Lions did win their bowl game.
Gotta give major props to the Florida Gators though. I have a friend that went to school there and he's now a photographer for their sports teams. I bet he's pretty happy right now.

Thanks for all you've done for the Steelers Coach Cowher...
Being a Tennessee Volunteers fan, I'm supposed to be a major Gator Hater. However, I'm glad that Florida won. They finally got to show what the SEC brings to the table. And did they ever. I've never seen one team dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides like that. Awesome! Congratulations to the Florida Gators.
And for Ohio State. You beat the pants off of everyone all year long and then totally and absolutely choke in the biggest game of the year. What happened, seriously, what? And don't blame it on the "51 days", thats bull. That seems like plenty of time to get ready for a national championship game to me. Come on guys, my Vols kept up with Florida better than you did.

Don't really have an answer, ......and no it is not the long layoff.....Tressel had won his last 4 bowl games when 40+ days after the regular season. 82 yards of offense is just embarrassing, as well as 4/14 for 32 yards I think.....Have never seen Tressel get out coached like that, and have not seen Ohio State get outplayed like that since the Cooper days.
I thought they should have tried to run more in the second qtr, they started to show signs there for a while in the second qtr... but the next drive they went 3 and put passing the ball... it wouldn't have mattered....Florida obviously outplayed OSU in every phase of the game...........congrats to them and their fans........
My 3 favorite teams:
1.The Denver Broncos
2.The Ohio State Buckeyes
3.Any team who plays Michigan
So much for the Big Ten and all the BS surrounding the so-called two 'best teams in the Nation'...
USC took Michigan apart, and the Florida Gators are up 34-14 at the Half...
So, for all of you Big Ten fans, reality has set in...your just not that good.
Im a huge Big 10 fan and we did beat SEC twice before OH/FL game. I will tell you this, 2006 Big Ten season was probably the worst season Ive seen in a long time.
Since Im not a Suckeye fan, Troy Smith should give his Heisman Trophy back.
