It was just simply amazing. The opposing team went up 13-0 and pretty much took our student section out of the game. The other student section actually cheered sarcastically when we got our first basket. Then in the 2nd half we were still down by as many as 14 and it appeared to be over. Well slowly, our team started chipping away and chipping away and when we pulled it to within 6 our student section came back to life. Then we got it to within 4 then to within 1 and we started going crazy. When we finally pulled ahead by 1 with 8 seconds left we once again went nuts. They missed the game winner at the buzzer and our student section turned into pure chaos! The fans on the other team's side just sat there in shock. I fully believe that the energy from our student section helped them to win the game. That was by far the best basketball game I have ever seen in person.

High School basketball is always a heck-of-a good time.
The best game I've ever been to was last year. We were playing our rivals Wheat Ridge Farmers (ugh j/k) and it was ROWDY. Anyway...the game is about over and its pretty obvious that my team is going to lose. So our football players (they are always the loudest and always get the crowd going) start yelling "We Won football!" so our whole side starts chanting it! Hahah then they reply "We'll win next year" but the thing is my school moved into 5a and they stayed in 4a...so we yell "We're in 5a!"
Anyways...it turns out Wheat Ridge won state this year which is kinda hilarious if you ask me...

We just beat our rivals Standley Lake on thursday, and the chants are always fun, because we dominate them every year now. The arena was going crazy though, it was so fun.

Lol, I go to a school with a 3,000 student population and about 5 students show up to basketball games not including cheerleaders and parents. I've never been to one.
The sport at my school is football. My team went to state 2 years ago and we had to go to a college stadium and it ROARED!!! Unfortunately we lost because we went up against one of those towns with 1 school so they had every athlete in their town on the team.
Do you guys go to big schools or something? EX: Dillon Panthers (friday night lights) lol, cuz nobody goes to any event besides football over here.

Well, my school is in 5A, which is the best conference with the schools with the highest student populations, but I don't know what our population is. But most of our sports teams are really good, so that is why we always have big turnouts.Originally posted by BroncoForLife27sigpicComment
