Do you think that the College Football program should create a Tournament system? Maybe the Top 25 teams at the end of the season could compete in a Tournament.

They will NEVER have a tourney of 25 teams. They may do 24 teams that have 1 extra game, but they will never have that many teams in a bracketed tournament.

I think they should do something but I'm not sure what. They won't let the college teams play many extra games, so the options are kinda limited.

That was my point though. The entire reason they don't have playoffs right now is because they don't want to add extra games on and get players hurt. They will never add a playoff system that consists of teams playing multiple extra games.

What is likely to happen if they do anything is they will have the top 8 teams or so all play 1 extra game and decide the standings after that. Until football becomes a non-contact sport, they will never have a muli-game playoff system.

I think it's needed. Gets rid of all the number crunching. Most of it anyway. Get the best teams and have them play each other to see who's the best.

I've heard/read by 2010 they want to have a two or three tier bracket playoff system in place. See how it works and expand it from there if necessary.

I think it'd make the College level football a lot more exciting and fun to watch. Look at baseball and basketball. Most people don't watch either until it's playoff time. The same can somewhat be said about football. The casual fan is what they want to target. They're always going to get the hardcore fan watching every move his/her respective sport is making but this would make things even better.

You also get rid of the "my team should have been in the National Championship for this reason" debate.

Well, if there was a tourney, than I would like it to include every conference winner, so no conference is left out, and every team has a shot to win going into the season.
