  • Vanderbilt University "Finally" won a National Championship

I wish it was football when Jay was there - but Vandy did not have the talent around Jay.

Congratulations to the Vanderbilt's Women Bowling Team. National Champs!

    I work at Vanderbilt University

    Where Jay Graduated!

I tell you I love Elway! He was my hero growing up. I loved the way he threw the ball with velocity! I love that in a QB. This is why I am a Cutlerfan!!

Well, Vanderbilt's Men's Basketball team has had a resurgence. They've had a pretty competitive team recently.

Off the topic, but shouldn't women compete in the same league as men in bowling; I mean, just how much of a physical advantage can men have over women in bowling?

Guys can bowl the ball harder, so maybe that is an advantage.

Maybe if the objective is to destroy the pins, hehehe.

Don't forget that the Vandy baseball team was #1 for the entire regular season.

There is no NCAA men's bowling. The women have this sport for Title IX compliance (and it is very cheap to implement), and even then, only two "BCS" schools have the sports (Vandy and Nebraska).

Should men and women compete on equal terms? Probably not. They don't professionaly or on the high school level because men are stronger than women. The best men just have higher averages than the best women.

Interesting; the men having higher averages might indeed be a physical thing, maybe muscle endurance and fatigue can play a factor.
