I think the ACC is weak in comparison with the Big-10, Pac-10, and especially the SEC. I don't think anyone in the ACC is a legitimate National Championship contender. Miami and Florida State are both a bit of a mess right now, and that will allow Virginia Tech to be in the driver's seat. The Hokies are the best team there, and my pick to win that conference. Their defense is superior, and they can run the ball.
The LSU/VT game should be a good one. They're both fairly evenly matched, but I do think my Tigers will pull it out because a) better offensive balance b) the game is in Baton Rouge and c) I am a homer. Our offense shouldn't skip a beat even with the loss of JaMarcus Russell and two of our top receivers because Matt Flynn is a solid QB and Early Doucet emerged last year and should be even better this year. We also have a great young back in Keiland Williams and a road-grading offensive line. Overall, I think LSU has a better overall offense than VT and that will be the difference.

Jimbo Fisher helped JaMarcus Russell become the #1 overall pick. He also help FSU out in the recruiting department. I think he could do wonders for Xavier Lee, who may be even more athletically gifted. He has much more potential than Drew Weatherford for sure.Comment

im kind of wondering if hes going to be groomed to take over for bowden, when bowden eventually decides to hang up the head set.

Does Bobby need to leave?.....YES, but don't expect it anytime soon.
Until that all-time wins record is safe, Bobby will coach.

While on the topic of FSU quaterbacks, does anbody know what happened to Wyatt Sexson? Last I heard he was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, haven't heard of him since.Comment

Lee has RAW talent, but even with all the physical gifts in the world it doesn't always translate on the field or mean your going to be a decent football player. He might be one of those guys.

i believe getting lyme disease was the end of Wyatt Sexton as a FSU quarterback .
