Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Does anybody know Ryan Miller's chances of starting this season?
It's hard to say since practices just started today. They are listing him at 6'8 320lbs though! He's already the biggest guy on the team. Obviously though there's more to it. I'd say as soon as he learns the playbook and gets used to the college game it will be hard to keep him off the field.
By the way, another true freshman o-lineman, Sione Tau, is 6'6 and weighed in today at 334 pounds.
This is Sweet!!! we're talking college football again ...
This is exactly what I was eluding to, are these guys considering CSU at all? I dont think so, we should be on a completely different level...
Patrick Williams did stand out at the Spring game, but I still dont trust him..the guy I did trust was Blake Mackey, but he never got playing time, I didn't understand why... Our TEs should be key for this offense to be successful..
Oh, by the way, CU is having a scrimmage August 18th, 10:30am, anybody going? I think I might be going to this, its suppose to be for "season ticket" holders only..but I dont think they will validate that...
Man, I wish I could be there. As soon as I get out of the AF in 2010 I plan on moving back to Denver and I will definitely be getting season tickets.

Wow, if he is 320 he has put on a lot of weight this summer, because he was maybe 280 lbs during the season.
man. now i really really hope scott commits. i would be extremely happy even if he was our only commit for next year. can you imagine how amazing our running game would be with him and gates in the backfield? especially if they were in a 2 back set, the defense wouldn't know where the ball is going. i hope he realizes how crazy our offense will be if he signs. we have the oline (the freshman should be good next year) receivers (the freshman looked like a darn good class) qb (not sure but they are probably going to be pretty good by at least next year with the o line and receivers we have). the only missing link is runningback. gates is going to be a nice link in the chain but with him AND scott. defenses will have nightmares of playing us (especially csu who will have graduated sperry bell [ithink] walker and [morton?] plus a lot of their defenders who already struggle against the run)
p.s. bvp i think miller was 310 at the end of season

Bell is only a Junior, so he has one more year.
I didn't think that Miller was 310 during the season. He didn't look like he was at least.
i'm so confident in the incompetence of csu (sonny is losing his coaching ability and he's the best csu will ever have) that i guarantee cu will win by at least 42. i'm willing to pay any csu fan $100 if this does not happen
What about a non CSU fan? I don't watch college ball, but hey if you are willing to pay someone if CU can put 42 on csu, much less anyone else, I'll take it!
**There is no bet, you just stated you'd give me $100 if CU beat them by at least 42. I like these odds!**

He will be lucky if CU wins the game at all, let alone 42.
I'm watching this game right now, and it's a good one. Both offenses are moving the ball well. It's tied 14-14 with 9:30 left in the half. I'm rooting for CU.
