Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Well, it looks like drinkin' in Lincoln has become a problem for Husker fans and their players. Isn't this the second guy to get multiple DUI's this summer?

Myself, Shawn (a chefs fan) and Mike on our way home from the Sand Trap in June '06. (Mildenhall AFB)
well considering the maximum penalty for a dui as a husker player is being suspended for one game (that they get to choose), i'm not surprised that they don't learn to stop drinking and driving

Lincoln police ticketed Teafatiller on suspicion of drunken driving, negligent driving, improper registration and minor in possession after a May 26 accident in which he hit a culvert. According to the accident report, his blood-alcohol level was 0.123.
Teafatiller was not prosecuted in that.
Good ol' home-town treatment, heh?
If Callacan't deems your presence is needed to win him games, then you're gonna be off the hood, period.
We'll see if Teafatiller pays the price, NOW, for Purify's leniency.
