America's Team

no...there isnt an americas team in the NFL....with the salary cap its too hard to turn into a dynasty....yankeeys are americas team...they ave won 26 world championships...and you either like them or HATE them

That's true. That's how it is out here in Cali with the Lakers. If you like Lakers, you hate the Kings. If you like the Kings, you hate the Lakers, on and on and on... Im glad I stay out of it with being a Nuggets fan... but yea I think the Yankees are possibly "America's Team"

The whole "America's Team" nonsense was started by the media. They chose Dallas for football and the Braves for baseball. I don't think there ever were teams "selected" in the NBA or the NHL. Everyone thinks the Cowboys themselves started that, but that just isn't true. I think some of it had to do with Tex Schramm and Tom Landry. They were considered "gentlemen" in a game of brutality.

Seems to me that the Patriots would be more fitting as the new "Americas team".

Stars and stripes....patriot....no outstanding individuals...just overall great "team".

However, the New England Patriots fail to carry around that intangilbe quality that other teams like the Packers or Steelers enjoy. You know, that karma, I'm not sure of the word I'm looking for but I think you know what I mean.

one reason i think cowboys are americas team is cuz the good ole folks root for them. In oklahoma, nebraska, kansas, most of the middle of the country, they all root for dallas cuz theyre the only team there is.
