  • Will Randy Moss comeback to NE?

Given he wins the Superbowl? He did take a big pay cut to go to the Patriots when no one else would trade for him.

He will receive a fat contract extension whether or not NE wins.

I bet you the guy doesn't even ask for a lot of money... I think he just wants to smash records. I say he stays with NE for the rest of his career. They're going to be so good next year...

      I don't believe they have SF's pick...

People the PATS as we know them are not going anywhere anytime soon. They are simply so great.

Well, they SHOULD keep him. Hopefully for the rest of the NFL they deem him too expensive and let him go like they have with other vets.

        They won't though.

They will be scary next year, but the will be older next year, especially on the defensive side. They'll probably lose Samuel and who know if Seau will retire again. Plus, they play us next year, so you know they already have 1 loss.

I doubt Moss will be going anywhere. He loves playing on the pats and with Brady. I don't think a pay cut will even change his mind. This is the happiest and most productive he has been since he was in the early years with the Vikings.

After seeing what Brady and Moss did this season, I would think that connection will still be there for years to come.

Some other teams may recognize his new found attitude, realize he isn't such a locker room cancer after all and try to steal him away with the all mighty dollar. But you never know.

But win or lose the Super Bowl, I think the Patriots will do what it takes to keep Randy in Boston.

                  moss in NE

i think they will only give him a one year deal. He'll get into trouble again because he is a PUNK !! i am surprised the pats EVER signed him to begin with.

The patriots dont care about the attitude of their players, even the head coach is a cheater with a crappy attitude, he will still be in NE next year.

You do realize that Brandon Marshall has already been arrested more times in his career (2: 3/26/07, 10/22/07) than Randy Moss has in his entire career? (1: 9/24/02).

So is Brandon Marshall a punk and are you surprised that we keep him?

If I'm Randy, I'm lookin at it like this: I put up big numbers, and can get a big deal somewhere else. This is probably my last chance to get a big contract.
On the other hand, if I take a low salary and return to NE, I have an opportunity to put myself up there with Jerry Rice.

Does he want to win another SB or make even more money? I say he's got enough money, and he'll play for peanuts in NE. If they lose the SB, I think he'd come back indefinitely.

Randy moss is kind of overpaid for a WR that can run exactly 1 route and that is the fade route...

Ninety-eight receptions for 1493 yards, averaging 15.2 yards per catch, and 23 TDs means he must run that fade route extremely well.

Seriously. Give me a WR that only runs the fade and puts up those #s!
