I'll eat my crow. I was boisterous about the Pats going undefeated all season long and I turned out to be wrong. Congratulations to the Giants. You guys deserved it.

CONGRATULATIONS
That has got to taste sweeter than any food you or I can ever eat.
We are going to go down town to go car tipping and get free beer and play with fire.
Note: Not jumpin' on the band wagon (so I should be the only guy down town with Bronco gear on) just going to celebrate a Pats loss. Its history you know.sigpic

I imagine the entire Patriot nation is crying right now.sigpic

It's strange how I knew the Patriots were going to win SB 42. There was no doubt in my mind... There was no way they could lose... Before the game was played, i already had begun thinking about who would be around next year from this year's New England team. I didn't give the Giants any of the credit that they deserved. I thought it might be close, but the Brady Bunch would pull it out again. Now, thinking back to the weeks before this game and how New York played recently, I'm not at all suprised that they won. I''l admit that i was wrong, but of all the times i've been blindsided, this would take the cake. The G-Men had forced Romo and Favre into making mistakes, and the offense had played well. Really well even. Meanwhile the Pats had troubles with Baltimore, Philly, and these Giants in the regular season and then didn't really show up for the game against San Diego. I guess i got too caught up in the idea that they were the best team in the NFL, and arguably one of the best all time. Looking back at the game, i know that most teams could have beaten the Patriots if they played the way New York did. Congrats to Manning and company... and good luck with the target that will now be on their back.
