I don't think that it will be LT because Rivers is coming off the knee injury and IMO will struggle for most of the season which will allow teams to stack the line of scrimmage and stop LT.
A. Peterson won't win because he has T. Jackson for a QB which will allow teams to completely stack the line of scrimmage to stop him.
Brandon Marshall won't win it because: 1) he is a receiver, I can't presently think of/remember a receiver that ever won the MVP award,2) he's not even one of the top 2-5 receivers in the NFL,
and 3) he has Jay Cutler as his QB.
#3 is not meant to be a slam at Jay Cutler, I just don't think it is realistic to expect a QB who has only started approximately 20-24 games and who was recently diagnosed with diabetes (I believe this is what he was diagnosed with) to be able to put up the numbers with Marshall that would thrust Marshall into MVP consideration. After Cutler has started another full season or two of regular season games (16-32), I would think that he should have gained enough experience and polish to be able to put up the numbers with Marshall that would thrust Marshall into MVP consideration. However, if Marshall does put up the numbers to make him an MVP candidate, then Cutler probably also has MVP numbers and would probably win rather than Marshall. -
