that's funny , the claim of inventing stories when you're the guy who said it wasn't true that he was spraying people with champagne

    i guess you're buying javon's story .... yeah it's soooo believable

Apparently a good nights sleep wasn't the cure for your litany of problems. If you recall the issue was whether the spraying of champagne was the cause of the attack. I said the police report did not even mention that it was even being considered as a motive. Lets move on from the champagne thing its been beaten down

        • No one is really sure what occurred that night BUT if
Javon Walker was acting the fool in Las Vegas........
"I ain't mad at him." The Raiders gave him a lucrative
contract. I would be acting the fool too if a team offered
me that much cash! LOL @ Raiders.

Seriously, I hope Javon is 100% for week 1.

          • This has to be the strangest thread I've read here in two years.

And it goes on....and on....and on...

First of all: If someone sprays me and my wife, friends, family, etc. down with champagne when I didn't ask for it, ....or it's not New Year's Eve....or my horse didnt' just win the Kentucky Derby.....or my team didn't just win the Superbowl (hint....hint).....then I'm probably going to stand up and personally knock you out for dousing me and my family with your unwanted alchoholic beverage.

If you're too big for me to knock out, ....I'd probably have a few bigger guys do it for me and then blame it on a robbery.

Spraying people with champagne (for those of you who don't get out much) is IDENTICAL to throwing your drink in their face. Vegas is a town that is built on nightclubs....you don't throw your drink in a stranger's face unless you want to end up in the desert somewhere. It's called "decorum" and "common sense".

I grew up (off and on) in Vegas. If this is a robbery then Al Gore is a scientist.

I hope Eddie Royal (the next Bronco superstar) is reading this. Maybe Javon should hangout with him sometime and learn how to be mature and act right.

Word to the wise: Grow up Javon Walker.....your act is getting old.

What goes back to having social skills? If that's a swipe at me, you're wrong, I don't care, and it's weak.

You calling me a jerk disturbs me not at all. If I'm a jerk for a lack of sympathy toward an over-paid, incrediably immature, self-centered, athlete who is either unbelievably naive or flat stupid, in light of New Year's eve 2006, who gets his clock cleaned. In Vegas. Off strip. In the middle of his second night bender. Oh gee, I'll take that badge because I have no sympathy for priviledged stupidity.
For one, no I dont spend much time in hospitals I stay away from those. But the only difference between being beat unconscious and beat to death is where you were hit and how hard it was.

Second, having no social skills, was a polite way of saying you dont know when to keep your mouth shut about your opinion of who you think is "an over-paid, incrediably immature, self-centered, athlete who is either unbelievably naive or flat stupid" the same day you hear of him getting badly beat up....its something you just dont say at this time. I dont really like Javon either and I think he deserves a few good shots from Lynch and co in a game....but not a literal beating and left to die in the street type of situation.

Third, I wasnt calling you a jerk to disturb you....I said it because thats the impression you're giving off.

Hope you dont take this as self-righteous condescension, but looks like 1 days gone by and you still havent changed, lol.

that's some kind of crazy oliver stone stuff right there

this is just a case of javon putting himself in a situation that he shouldn't have

he obviously was flashing his fame and fortune around, and you really don't want to be doing that in vegas of all places, no matter how family friendly they've made vegas, there's still people out there willing to do anything for money, to feed their gambling fix.
You may very well be right... but just because it seems improbable doesn't mean it's impossible. I'm a conspiracy theorist from time to time, so that's my take. However, I will say this: while it is unfortunate what happened to Javon, and horrific what happened to Williams, they are not without blame in the situation. And the reason I bring up Marshall as well (in addition to the fact that most stories point to him being involved in the NYE business to the point that several sources have pointed to him as the primary instigator of the beef that night) is because he needs to get his act together off the field if he doesn't want something like this to happen to him... there's a pattern of behavior there that HAS TO worry any Broncos fan, not to mention anyone who cares about him personally.

Spend some time in a hospital and you'll see that your so-called near death experience for Javon is a minor physical trauma.

After a fool acts a fool, that is the perfect time to well...call him a fool. That's all I'm doing here. I don't wish anyone to get a beat down but I have zero sympathy for those who do when they are acting foolishly. If you want to cater your opinion to something other than actions, that's your perogative. I choose not to so so or to keep my mouth shut in order to save your opinions.

I'm giving off no impression, good or bad. You simply interpret it that way. Doesn't matter to me how you interpret it.

                    Bellagio says Walker story bogus
Raiders receiver Javon Walker says three men showed up at his Bellagio hotel room in Vegas Sunday night with guns and somehow conked him over the head, dragged him out of the room, and deposited him somewhere else with a lighter wallet ($3,000 lighter) and a lighter jewelry collection ($100,000 lighter), but the Bellagio is saying there is no way it happened quite this way. And the hotel should know: it has more than 2,000 surveillance cameras around the place. (KVBC)
