Correction, 350 yards...but dont get it twisted I hope we still win. I am sick of you people giving this guy a hard time. So what he was partying! So what he made it rain with champagne! He did nothing wrong. Who knows if these incidents are even related. You guys are making too many assumptions. It could be the case where he was walking to his hotel and some random dudes...who just landed in vegas 15 minutes prior...saw him...and whooped him up and robbed him. Javon is guilty of being famous. And tell you one thing that you people dont know about this guy. He is 100% stand up. He never hurts anyone, he never causes trouble; he parties...come on! First of all I also wish Javon a full and speedy recovery; and I also think that Javon partying is not a big deal. Like you I also believe that the Champagne incident could be totally separate from the mugging, but then again it could be related (we don’t know enough yet so everything is speculation at this point).

However unlike you I do not wish for Javon or any member of the Raiders team to "light us up" because some of our fans don’t like him so much. To me that’s a bit silly…even though I really like LT (Chargers RB) I do not wish for him to torch our defense. I myself would have kept it real simple like I hope he recovers instead of I hope he lights us up, but that is your opinion and you are entitled to it.

There are many things a man can do that is forgiveable, stupidity however is not one of them.

Per reports he was robbed of 3000$ in cash and 100.000$ in jewelry, at 6 a.m. a Monday morning on a backstreet in a shady area of Las Vegas. Unless he is moonlighting as a paper boy or milk man, he should have known a hell of a lot better.

It sounds a lot like you are 15 and have never been to a bar and spilled a drink one someone else. Let me tell you, that is wrong, in fact I am pretty confident that second to jealousy, spilling drinks is the single biggest reason people have their ass kicked. Obviously Javon is a party boy, he knows this, I doubt he has ever beat anybody up over that, but I am sure he has seen people get their face rearranged because of a spilled drink, so it is a pretty big deal.

If I couldn't do my job for more than a few weeks during a year, I would be pretty happy if all they did was ask me to take a paycut. I would be extatic I didn't just get fired.

Walker has an opportunity to show he wasn't damaged goods by taking the pay cut and playing hard. Instead he went to the media, got fired, somehow got a huge payday from the only team in the league run by a certifiable lunatic and he repays them by partying until 6 a.m. Monday morning? Way to be a stand up guy, I am sure right now Jamarcus Russell is saying a slightly less quotable version of "he is not my favourite person right now".

Well, despite your man-crush on him, Javon had a bad attitude while here.
It has come out of the locker room that he was not team-oriented, that he
was self-centered about individual accomplishments. His own QB had to call
him out publicly before the Broncos ever thought of bringing him here.

For the investment (2nd round) in him and the CAP space he took, he was a
bust and a waste. Those on the team who are glad to see him gone do not
number among the few.

He did nothing but help to set the Broncos back. Good riddance.

Krazy Horse, now that is one stupid post. I hope it's just that emotion has clouded your judgement. I don't wish harm on Javon in any way, but what he did was stupid on so many levels. Champagne spraying may have been the thing that ignited the Darrent Williams tragedy which Javon was involved in, and then you go do it again? Spraying 15 $100+ bottles of champagne on people who might not want champagne sprayed on them? Even if unrelated, which I agree is very possible, you don't walk around alone in Vegas, and you NEVER walk off-strip in Vegas. I'm not saying he deserved it but he was a knucklehead.

As far as hating the Broncos, why? They "rescued" him from Green Bay. He hurt his knee and was no longer worth what they were paying him. If you were no longer worth what you make at your job what would your employer do? And then you run your mouth to the media?

And as far as him having a great season, I don't see it. He reported out of shape, that knee is far from a sure thing, and now this incident could possibly keep him out for an extended period of time.
