"Orbital fractures are no big deal!" Talk about ignoramus!

McKeough hit it right on the head with orbital fractures. How can it be no big deal for an athlete who is going to take shots to the head? My younger brother played college football and suffered an orbital fracture. Let me say this, it required immediate surgery (as it sounds like JW did too) he rquired a sclerobuckle around his whole eyeball because the fracture tore his retina. He now has terrible vision in that eye and could barely play through one more season of football because of it.

So for a guy who is SUPPOSEDLY getting his masters at the University of Spoiled Children I don't believe him. Anybody with even a Good Enough Degree would be smarter than making an idiotic statement like that and we all know how many he has made.

Seldom does anyone, especially in a major market, pass their CPA exam prior to securing their grad degree. My guess: he's a young teenager who's trying to pass himself off as being an adult.

I just wonder why he doesn't know that everybody sees through him like a glass of water.

          There's no doubt....

I'm a sports doctor, and I've been in sports medicine for almost two years. I see people rehabbing from these injuries all the time.

Orbital bones can very easily lead to eye damage.

          Orbital rim fracture:
Caused by a direct impact to the face. Because a great deal of force is required to cause these fractures, they often occur with extensive injuries to other facial bones, and sometimes injuries to the brain. Even if the damage is limited to the eye area, there may be additional injuries to the eye itself, such as the optic nerve (responsible for vision), the eye muscles, the nerves that provide sensation in the forehead and cheek, the sinuses around the eye and the tear duct. There are two types of orbital rim fractures. A zygomatic fracture involves the lower edge of the eye rim, which is part of the cheekbone. A frontal bone fracture or frontal sinus fracture involves the upper edge of the eye rim, which is part of the forehead's frontal bone.

          Indirect orbital floor fracture:
This occurs when the bony rim of the eye remains intact, but the paper thin floor of the eye socket cracks or ruptures. This can cause a small hole in the floor of the eye socket that can trap parts of the eye muscles and surrounding structures. The injured eye may not move normally in its socket, which can cause double vision. Most blowout fractures are caused by an impact to the front of the eye from something bigger than the eye opening, such as a fist.

          Direct orbital floor fracture:
If an orbital rim fracture extends into nearby parts of the eye socket floor, both the rim and the socket floor are fractured.

So yes, a fractured orbital bone can be very costly to athletes.
Any bone fracture can be severe. I just posted this saying that typically, unless severe, they aren't that big a deal. Most boxers have had this injury at some point and it stops very few of them from continuing to box.

what an idiot. do your research. you have it backwards...do i need to have you google my name for proof. CPA then masters, duh. Any CPA would know that. That is the most common path. why pay for your masters when your company will? And i passed all of my CPA tests on my first try. Go check the stats on that, then look in the mirror and slap yourself in the face. uh duh. get on my level son. bow down to the horse

I don't play in the gutter. My research is fine. You're a fraud who thinks a big mouth makes him believable. You can talk to me when you have something to say. Thus far, you not only have nothing to say but you don't know how to say it. Keep thinking you're cool and impress your buddies.

The only thing I don't like about this incident is how if a Bronco does something dumb, people try to blame them off hand on Darrent Williams.

Now, its nobody's fault but the killers, but when Marshall busted up his arm on some McD's, many people were like "he's such a trouble maker, his argument precipitated Williams's death! How does he sleep at night???"

Now that Javon did something stupid and that he is a former bronco who left on bad terms. "Oh my god, he got his *** beat or being dumb, he also did this same thing that precipitated Williams's murder? How can he do this???"

Why people need to constantly blame our (former) troublemakers for Darrent's death just because they were nearby to Darrent before his death, when many details on the death are speculation and unclear? Whats next? D.J. gets a DUI again and stupid people will say, "he was in the car with Darrent, how could he do this?"

It's just a dumb trend I see to notice.
