    Ironically, that game wasn't mentioned....only bills/hawks.
    guess it 'slipped' by ya.....

Next the have not "game planned" one game at this time. Now if they do not do well at Invesco the next two games then we can worry a little bit.
    nobody has gameplanned.

That is the entire point. The game that the Chiefs played away from home, they lost. The game they played at home they won.
I believe i do recall people giving up points to the giants that wont be on the roster on opening day. In preseason football you really cant look at the entire game with so many people destined to be cut.

I was impressed with KC, much as I hate to admit it. Their Offense looked like it hasn't missed a beat from last season. If anything, their WR corps looked better. But I was most impressed with their defense. Granted, they were playing against a bad O-Line, but is Denver's much better? From what I have seen so far, not by much. Still, it is a tall task to come into our house and beat us. Should make for an interesting game to say the least.

My aunt just called and said that she is going to be out of town for the Den/KC game and that I could have her ticket! Woohoo. Southstands here I come.

    EMCF,

You’re right they were missing Turley (who will probably be out all season) and Pace. Which was good for our D line. What I don’t remember hearing here was the fact that Seattle was missing both starting tackles (Womack/Locklear) in the Bronco/Seahawk game.

If I am not mistaken Denver has some out of position players on the offensive line as well and they really haven’t proven they can do the job yet. That doesn’t mean they wont get it done eventually but Sept. 12 is right around the corner and Gunther is 4-0 against Denver.

The Chiefs D will be fine. That sort of sounds like some of the Bronco fans when talking about their O.

This is silly for several reasons. First, the Chiefs 1st team starters went 14-0 against the Giants. They scored points and they stopped the Giants from scoring. What more can you ask for? They didn't have a problem playing on the road.

Second, I don't think I've ever seen someone saying "I don't care if we don't score touchdowns on the road as long as we score them at home".

And finally, let's not forget that while the Denver/Redskins game wasn't in Denver, it was not a home game for the Redskins either. Entirely new O on the broncos. But they have inproved as a unit every game. New HB, TE, RT, LT and Lelie is now the left side WR and watts looks to be slot. It takes more than a few games to get used to that. Wait till the season starts, then we'll see. Hah, can't wait.

The three games the Broncos played this pre-season were on the road. They lost two and won one. All on the road.

Have not had a home game yet, that is the point. We did win one "road" game though against a team that smoked the Packers.

So your point about the touchdowns is useless unless we don't score touchdowns in our two last home games.

So Slippery, tell us whose team do you root for. Good points. Remember Denver has played all their games away not at home like the Chiefs are at this time. It is much harder to play on the road then it is at "home". Also the teams they played had excellent defenses in Bills and Seahawks. Both are said to be playoff bound.

    Who won the Giants game?

Yes, they held off the mighty Giants O. Oh, and they held off the mighty Rams O missing their two best O-line men and behind the amazing arm of bulger. Bah, but we held the seahawks who are a pick to win the division and maybe a superbowl run to 3 points and one trip to the redzone. Keep dreaming about your D being any good.

As much as I hate to say it. KC would smoke us at this point in time.
