I saw a question on yahoo and it was asking if a High Powered College Team could beat the Detroit Lions.

Someone answered yes, and they said the 2001 Miami Hurricanes could beat the Lions.

Ho-ly crap. That Hurricane team is beastly.

If you put that Cane team against the Lions today they'd abuse the Lions, but put them in 2001, the Gators or Sooners of 08 against them and they'd get abused.

I just can't buy into the notion that a college team can beat even the worst NFL teams, especially with the gimmicky systems being run on the college level.......

No current College Team could beat the Lions, as bad as the Lions are, they are also a pro team, and they have actually been in some games against some tough teams, big leap from college to pro, thats why they call it the Pros.
