Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

The Broncos have two Vince Lombardy trophies. How many does San Diego have? The math isn't hard to do.
"...well...umm...we won two Superbowls and you haven't won any! Hahahaha. There. I win. And whenever a Charger fan makes a valid point as to why his team is better than mines, I'll always bring that up!"
umm dont leave out that in those ten years the dolts had ..two other #1 picks which resulted in LT, rivers, merriman, scifres, a number 5 which got jammer among the other high picks, where denvers highest pick was a #10 in 2000 and last years 12 for clady
Exactly, its called rebuilding.
You guys (like Washington) trade your picks for 1yr wonders like Javon Walker and signed vets like Jake Plummer. In the short run it got you a couple more wins, but in the long you missed out on some very good players that could have built your franchise for the future.
That no call on intentional grounding was ridiculous. Any other team that would be called. All I can say is Steelers 40 > dolts 10. There's no way they beat them so whatever.
The intentional grounding pissed me off too. Even I could see that one. Oh well, the refs must feel they owe the Chargers or something. May the best team win... Go Steelers!
It's true that a defender cannot go "through the player" to make the play. However, not all contact is illegal. At that point it becomes a judgement call. In the opinion of the official (the only one that matters), while there was contact, it was not PI.
no wrong..crom went right through the wr,, reached over the top,,,which is where the second infraction comes in..a defendes actions may not limit the wrs arms or hands from going for the ball....
the defender mmay not contact a wr unless going for the ball...but he cannot PLAY THROUGH THE BACK OF THE WR...its not a judgement call...its the rule

Thank you for driving my point home.
and your missing my point....the point that by sucking so bad you get multiple #1 picks in the ten year period ,,,got you better talent then did the broncos for picking much later in the round...it is your suckiness that brought rivers, LT, Merriman, jammer
we have never sucked so bad even after losing elway, TD, sharpe, atwater, zimmermon, to get even a top 5# pick

Sorry, it was the judgement of the official that he did not impair the receiver's ability to go after the ball. That's why there was no call. Whether or not he went through the receiver is a judgement call. Just because the official saw it differently doesn't make him wrong.

You guys need to let go of your bitterness for San Diego. It is getting to the point of being pathetic in the eyes of fans around the NFL. It will be a long cold bitter winter if you don't let it go, Very sad if you ask me. The Chargers kicked your butts and turned around and did it to the Colts. Case closed.
