  • From 18-1 Rejection to 19-0 Redemption for the Pats in 2009?

this is not surprising, but it is interesting. The Pats could be looking at T.O for a 1 year contract, and make an all or nothing Super Bowl run again if T.O is cut by the Cowboys. Belichick can control him for a season, maybe two, then offload him with minimum difficulty. All he has to do is say compete for a Super Bowl, and T.O. would buy in instantly.

If Brady's healthy, and they sign T.O....can you imagine the offense?

Brady to T.O., Brady to Moss, Brady to Welker, Brady to whoever the 4th receiver, Brady to Ben Watson,....sweet jimminy christmas, with that kind of offense, they could very easily smash the records they set in 2007.

That juggernaut just might be unstoppable. Visions of 19-0 could be dancing in Patriot fans eyes. Following rejection up with redemption would be the ultimate football story, and if anyone can do it, the Patriots could.

I know the Cowboys are having serious internal discussions about releasing Terrell Owens very soon. Serious discussions. The $3.1-million roster bonus due Owens in March is also adding to the discussions. It may affect the decision that Jason Garrett makes if he is offered a head coaching job.

They would drop more balls than a Junior High School. They'd be lucky to get to the Super Bowl, let alone go undefeated again in the regular season.

Eesh, The thought of trying to cover Moss, Owens, and Welker is just plain scary.

Almost like what teams experience with BMarsh, Royal, and Stokes. :salute!:

it'd be nice if we played them the last game of the season, and we upset their bid for perfection.....

or, and I know this is unrealistic of me, but how awesome would it be to have 2 15-0 teams playing each other in the final game of the season? (and even funnier, what if they tied???)

that'd make for some sweet headlines right there.

If you are still hoping we got their last game of the season those are some REALLY unrealistic views

did you eat your bowl of stupid cereal today or something? everyone said the same thing when he got Randy Moss from the Raiders.

                everyone heard

oh randy, he's lazy, and he won't play hard for Belichick, and he'll have off the field problems, he's not moviated and all the other banter about how Moss really was.

Randy Moss then went on to set the record for Touchdown receptions in a single season by a receiver.

and Belichick made all the doubters and haters recognize who they all needed to bow down to. Super Bowl loss or not, you can't deny they had the best regular season of any team in the history of the NFL, and the best season of any team not to win the Super Bowl.

T.O. doesn't want money...he wants one thing. A Super Bowl.

I for one wouldn't mind signing T.O. to a one year contract. History shows that T.O. is his best during that one year. It is the second year he starts to turn the ship.

T.O. is a curse to any team he plays for! All that talent and skill is negated by his selfishness, vanity, his trash talk, and severely threatens team synergy and chemistry so essential for success. Moss is another primadonna -but not worse than T.O. , and I doubt Bellichick could control him!

I hope the Patriots sign TO and he punches Bill Belliache in the face.
