  • Why is it EVERY game people THINK the refs favored one team?

Get over it...The refs called a good game...The game was played outstanding and Pitt is not classless...Just becouse Harrison made that BONE-HEADED play how many of those go on in the trenches? The Refs are NOT to blame, Pitt played better for the full 4 and won...The were leading 20-7 , great comeback by Arizona, but dont blame it on the Refs again...

We do alot of Chop-Blocking and Dirty plays as well, every team does...and as For Holmes talking himself up...Well he just won the MVP on the biggest stage in all of sports...Maybe one of the most Clutch TD catches in SUPERBOWL history...Give Pitt there due...

We don't think that every game, but when it's there, it's obvious.

Pitt vs Seahawks SB, Colts vs Chargers this season, this SB, majority of our games after that San Diego game, etc.

Are you high? Great game, but no doubt blind monkeys would have called it better..Hopefully things will change when Perrera retires. (Not saying he's responsible but maybe the officiating will go in a different direction.)

I will say that this season was the worst I can ever remember. The SB was not as bad as the one in which the Refs essentially stole a ring off of the Seahawks fingers.

IMO there did seem to be some kind of make up calling going on against the Broncos after the Hochuli incident.

I think honestly in this game who ever had the momentum got the calls at the point. When the steelers d was flying they were calling holds and PI on the Cards. But when the Cards had momentum they got calls like the saftey. The refs distributed it well.

I think some just get SOOOO blind watching games. They root so hard for a team they just don't WANT to see the fouls.

This game was called WELL. Each time there was a penalty, they showed the replay where it was correct. The replays that had to be reviewed, were SO Close.. even in replay and in slow motion, they were hard to call. Those calls could have gone EITHER way, and no matter what way they were called, they would have had the red flag thrown.

This was a well reffed game. So many of you guys just WANT there to be a conspiracy. If its not for the Patriots.. its for the Chargers.. if not for the Chargers.. for the Steelers.... because it makes sense that the NFL refs would all group together and try to help a team win.

You just make yourself look like a damn idiot when you say whoever is wrong is a simple minded fool.

                    I'm sorry I think differently

Reffing was very good in this game.

A lot of people here are NFL stupid.

I agree, every penalty call was justified during a replay.

                        Cp to you.

the officiating was nearly flawless in this game.

the only call I thought was questionable was the Roughing the passer penalty on the Cardinals, when Roethlisberger rolled out to the left, and came forward, stopped and fired it down the field. there was no way that defender could have stopped, he was about 3/4 of a step to 1 step away when Roethlisberger released the ball.

other than that, the refs did a good job, and the rest of the calls were accurate.

I thought there were a lot of calls, but the Cards had trouble containing Harrison and the guys, and many holds were related to that fact. And as I mentioned elsewhere, if the refs loved the Steelers so much they wouldn't have called the safety, the roughing call out of bounds, and the hold on the winning drive.

I'll bet a review of all the calls would show they were 90%+ accurate.

Again, these refs are chosen for a reason, and the Cards only had to stop the Steelers on the last drive to win.

Lets leave refereeing out of this, otherwise it sounds like a SD / Broncos smack room.

Because remember way back in week 2 when a ref made a mistake? You can't possible expect people to forget that. Because of that one mistake every game is won by the refs. I thought that was common knowledge....
