if you didnt realize there was only a couple seconds left in the game. And NO timeouts.

Why hasn't anyone said about Warners effort to push Harrison out of bounds on the run back. :brick:

It reminds me of the NFL films, when the Dolphins got their kick blocked & the kicker showed no effort to bring him down. It's not the fact that you goofed up, but how you made up for it!

Warner should of laid his body into him, not to tackle him just to push him out. The time would of expired & they would of got the ball back after halftime.

Lets see here, you can have two passing plays to try and make a TD and if you come up empty you still have a FG try.
Or, one running play and FG.

Its not rocket science boys. It was just a bad call by the OC, it should have been a fade route to Fitz or something deeper in end zone. Calling a quick slant was just a bad call.

It was actually a great call, just a bad read by Warner. The Steelers called an all out blitz, but Harrison faked the blitz & stayed back. Warner made the read before the play & stuck with it.

As for the fade to Fitzgerald, thats not always an assured play. The qb needs time to throw that pass. So if they send a all out blitz, Warner might not get set right & throw a pick.
