Football is about the men on the field. As entertaining as it may be to speculate about all kinds of things, and that is part of the fun. When these football players come on the field they are endeavoring into an almost sacred athletic art form.
Watch some old videos about NFL football, and you should immediately realise how important this game is, by listening to the old veterans describe how the game is played.
Handicaps are for golf, if you don´t like contact go play competitive yo-yo.

I agree....The Raiders used to be what football is all about.....as much as I hate to say that because I despise the Raiders, but they used to be the truth, A LONG time ago. They have been a Joke for at least the last decade or so.

Mr. Mooncamping, your posts are like a train wreck. I really don't want to look but I just can't help it. They are entertaining if nothing else. Your grasp of the English language amuses me, by the way it's spelled endeavouring. And your knowledge of football is, well, questionable. While I can agree that Denver could use a little bit of their own mystique, evoking memories of the raider glory days may not be the best thing. While I certainly respect what they have accomplished, the multiple Superbowls and hall of famers, they were often very dirty in how they went about things. I wonder, are you a Bronco fan? The whole Bozworth thing and the man love for Lester Hayes throws me off. Also you mention that todays players should look to the great players of the past, I think you should watch some of those old videos yourself because I read your thread the other day on the greatest players from each team and it was pretty bad. Anyway keep posting I always enjoy a good laugh.

Brian Bosworth is one of the best linebackers to ever play in the NFL. Had he had a full career in the NFL it is quite likely that the Seattle Seahawks would have a few more trophies in their trophy case and a few more busts in the hall of fame. He won the Butkus award two years straight and is one of the few defensive players in NCAA history to have had a genuine shot at winning the Heisman trophy.

Alot of if's there buddy concerning Bosworth.Seems he turned out more talk and hype than anything. Not sure i would rank him near the top. But he did represent an interesting rivalry with Elway.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha etc.....etc...... Seriously guy the Boz was most definitely NOT one of the best LBs to ever play. I wouldn't even say he was the best Seahawk LB to ever play. He had a decent college cereer, two time Butkus winner and national champion, but he was a steroid freak and was kicked off of his team for it. As for his pro career he only lasted a couple of years. In that time he accomplished nothing of significance. Further more his head hunting of one Mr. John Elway should be enough for any Bronco fan to condemn him. My apologies if someone has already pointed all of this out to you, I am still a little new around here. And I really do enjoy reading your posts even if I never agree with you. Three more words for ya..... Bo knows Boz.

History is written by fact. Bosworth played 24 career games in the NFL from 87 to 89. That does not constitute a full career. In those games Denvers record was 3 and 3 against Seattle. Boz may or may not have played in all six of those games. Brian Bosworth was voted one of the top 10 busts in NFL history by NFL network, and one of the biggest flops of the last 25 years by ESPN. The facts are the facts, Bosworth was worth less.
