    Broncos pull a fast one

Insiders say Jay Cutler's bad reputation is a creation of misinformation in Denver.

Petulant child or innocent victim of a PR blitz?
Yo, T-Weezy checking in from La-La Land, hanging with the stars and chillin' with the beautiful people!

Actually, I'm lying on my hotel bed in a pair of cargo shorts, a dirty T-shirt and black socks as I try to memorize as many names as possible for the NFL Network's marathon draft coverage this weekend. Sounds glamorous, doesn't it? Actually, it's pretty cool to be with NFL insiders who actually have inside information, not rumors coming from "Southside PJ" spewing nonsense on a message board. That was a little mean, wasn't it? Sorry. Anyway, it's nice to be back in the football bunker.

Some random thoughts after picking some large football brains:

    # Jay Cutler isn't the petulant child the Broncos want you to think he is. My source says while he might like to go out and have fun every now and again -- like all single 25-year-olds -- he was the first one in the building every morning, studying film of the upcoming opponent. His teammates loved him and Brandon Marshall was made by Cutler, not the other way around. New Broncos coach Josh McDaniels is now suffering from debilitating migraines. I wonder why.
    Food for thought?
Hoping for a defensive-minded head coach and a return to the ZBS on offense. At the very least, no more cheaters for head coach.

New studies underway at U of Calgary (similar environmental conditions) show that "Chinooks" trigger them.
In other comments, I couldn't care less about Cutler as he is not a Bronco.

I only posted this because a lot of posters have been throwing out the "Cutler is lazy" or "Cutler doesn't like studying film" excuse in trying to defend this trade.

Moreover, if there is a concerted PR campaign by the Broncos, since it would only be done for a reason, it would indicate that not everyone was on board with McDaniels' handling of Cutler. This might be significant if McDaniels doesn't win immediately.

            yep...waddle's a chicago biased homer = http://espn.go.com/chicago/columns/b...rchive=January

If you're a fan of the award winning "Bears Kickoff Sunday", seen locally on Fox 32 each and every Sunday during the regular season, then you've surely seen the masterpiece that is Matchups. I may be a touch biased, but I consider it the most entertaining and informative three minutes of television, anywhere.

all of these bears fans that think jay cutler is the second coming of jesus will be dissapointed.

guy is a good qb but he's not some future hall of fame qb thats going to lead the bears to 5 straight superbowls

I don't remember anyone saying that Cutler is lazy or doesn't like studying film

So why are T-Weezy's sources more reliable than anyone else's?

I guess I don't remember any talk coming out of the Broncos having anything to do with his work ethic. Do you have anything to substantiate the title "Broncos pull a fast one"?

Insiders say Denver pulled off the most lop sided trade since the Herschel Walker deal.

Petulant child Jay Cutler was traded to the Chicago Bears for 2 first round picks (one this year, one next), a 3rd round (swapped for their 5th), and Kyle Orton.

My source says he loves to go out and have fun every night and still he's the first one throwing up during the film studying. His teammates loved him, partied with him, hell Brandon Marshall once made Cutler run a "suicide drill" on the lanes on I-25 last year. New Broncos coach Josh McDaniels is now suffering from debilitating migraines. I bet he's glad that it's subsided in time to cash in those beloved picks for superstars.

Cutler just ran away and ignored important phone calls. If there is any issue about his film studying and alcohol comsumption, they are Bears' problems now.

Actually, Waddle is a former Bear, not just a fan.

What else would you expect someone like him to say about Cutler? Sounds like T-weezy is the one trying to pull a fast one...
