Israel Idonije was raised in Brandon, Manitoba and played college ball at the U of M, here in Winnipeg. Being a local product, and a great guy, I am a huge fan. In fact, I am part Bears fan because of Izzy.

Even though he is not a starter (yet), I'm sure you will concur that he is a very valuable player, as a backup lineman and special teamer. He brings it... all the time, and with some grooming, may be a starter some day. Regardless, every team could use a guy like Izzy!!!!

Take good care of our big young man.....as you probably know, he was just signed to an extended contract.

He could start this year. The Bears were almost dead last in pressuring opposing QB's last year. We need more push up front. I never knew he was raised in Canada, only that he was Nigerian.

Yes, he was born in Nigeria but most of his growing up came right here in the Province of Manitoba.

And I'd love to see him as a starter. He works so hard, is fast, and has much potential in terms of pass rush...of course, you probably know that....
