Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Reports have said that Matt Cassel might lose his starting job to Thigpen.....Does this show that Josh Mcdaniels isnt as good of a QB coach as he is claimed to be?
also if Matt cassel was a fluke last year than i somewhat feel bad for Kansas City for paying him that HUGE contract
If Cassel was great in McDaniel's scheme and with his tuteledge, and sucks now, wouldn't that mean McDaniels was a good OC and QB coach?
no not at all....he was only good at New england cause of the supporting cast....There are things called flukes...A.K.A Derek Anderson....Fausto Carmona.....Jamal Lewis.....Braylon Edwards(not sure if fluke yet...it all depends on this year) and many more......but its kinda funny everyone i listed is an ohio team

This argument doesn't make sense - we have the best OL in the league, the best receiver corp in the league, and a Moreno/Hillis backfield isn't exactly shabby either.
We have a better supporting cast than NE on offense. If McDaniels can create offensive fireworks via the "supporting cast" in NE, he can certainly do it here.

It means that Matt Cassel is a system Quarterback and a 1 year wonder.
I really don't like how Josh McDaniels values his system over talent.
