$12 mil is probably too much for a player at that stage but I thought it was a good pickup. He'll definitely be making better decisions then the QB's they had on their roster.

Favre isn't really known for his decision making. In fact that is the biggest flaw in his game and leads to bookoo interceptions. His experience, leadership, and great arm are the things that the Vikings wanted him for.

No, that's true. But he's definitely a better decision maker then Jackson and Rosenfels. He has to be, he's been in the league for like 20 years!

IMO, I think he get's too much crap for his INT's. A lot of those were actually smart plays near the end of a half or the game when a play has to be made so he forces the throw.

I'd have to agree with you, a hail marry int at the end of the half is pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Farve has always been a gun slinger, but last years shoulder injury was as responsible as his decision making.

          I don’t think the Vike’s are nuts.

I do think it’s a Stout paycheck (unless they win the big one) then it’s way worth it.

Yes and No I think. Yes in the fact that they are wanting a 40 year old QB that just had arm surgery to come into camp when its just about over and lead the team to a Super Bowl. I'm with Cris Carter when he says that they need to get off to a good start right off the bat or there is no righting the ship after a bad start. Also ask the Jets what they are left with after he left. Back to rebuilding and retooling although being able to get Sanchez is nice but how lucky can a team get sometimes.

No in the fact that he will provide experience and leadership and another element to a team with a premier running back. Lets face it Tavaris and Sage was not going to lead them to a Super Bowl. So why not try it and see what happens. It will be interesting thats for sure to see what happens this year with him.

LOL Farve makes lots of decisions... Many of them really stink!
