    Good News

Shawne Merriman could be suspended by the time we play the Chargers for his domestic violence incident with Tila Tequila.

On PFT, they said that Tila is supposed to come out with her side of the story and it is far different from Merriman's. Here's to hoping he's gone when we play SD.

    "Talking Smack."

    This is "Other NFL Teams."

Take it to the smack board please, gang.

This goes for fans of both teams. We built that forum for a reason. Help us out.

Yeah, they're probably in need of some polishing because you got them so long ago, there's got to be tarnish building up on them.

Recent history between our respective teams has gone heavily in our favor, and that "trend" is likely to continue for awhile.

We're in your league, we're in your division, and we're obviously in your heads as well!

Regardless of how the rest of it turns out, that question deserves some inquiry from fans that care about such matters I would think.

Welcome to the Brandon Marsh... I mean Shawne Merriman Fan Club. Luckily, we brought extra seats.
Oh, I really think a lot of us are watching this pretty closely. I wish we were watching game highlights instead of "Days of Our Lives". By the way, thanks for the chair.

If he didn't choke her and didn't physically restrain her, then yeah, he's probably going to walk and rightly so.

But if he held her in place and especially if he harmed her in the process, he is in fact, guilty, of illegally restraining her.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Even if he had a good reason at heart, it's still against the law to restrain someone from leaving.

Also, what's the deal with VJ didn't he get in trouble for DUI's or something?
i think charges were dropped with him

IMO he was probably more at fault in his case, than merriman was in this current case.

i can't even remember where VJ's case is currently, if it's still in the legal process then perhaps he's going to face a suspension at some point (probably the start of next season?) if the charges were dropped then i guess it's over and he got lucky (but with goodell it probably counts as a first offense or something)

    i really can't recall

Aj isn't going to want to keep a guy who is always in the news, on the team, even if he's 100% innocent in this case, and a hero

AJ is probably thinking , why is this guy partying during the season?

i think that's abig problem the chargers have to get over, they have alot of drinkers, they've got to fix that

according to reports he wasn't even drinking that night, but the whole party mentality has got to change for those guys especialy during the season

they're jeapordizing their futures for an instant high of a party

they need to be alot more responsible, and surround themselves with a better class of people (that goes for any nfl player who currently likes to party)

we've all seen what a night of partying brings....usually nothing good in terms of football

they've got all offseason to party, when you go to work, you should go to work.....

Fair enough. Slow down, turbo. Some of us like the fans from other teams if they post reasonably. Hang around a while. You'll see. We have three or four Charger fans that are a big part of our community and we're glad they're here.

Relax and slow down... We're not all out to get you (though admittedly, most of us are - but not all).
