If he didn't choke her and didn't physically restrain her, then yeah, he's probably going to walk and rightly so.

But if he held her in place and especially if he harmed her in the process, he is in fact, guilty, of illegally restraining her.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Even if he had a good reason at heart, it's still against the law to restrain someone from leaving.
no injuries on her according to paramedics and cops, so it looks like she's making that part up

i bet all he did was take her keys

the rest sounds like intoxicated ramblings

But, my question is will San Diego give him his contract extension?
    no we won't

unless he has some kind of ware-like monster year

    i don't see it

Aj isn't going to want to keep a guy who is always in the news, on the team, even if he's 100% innocent in this case, and a hero

AJ is probably thinking , why is this guy partying during the season?

i think that's abig problem the chargers have to get over, they have alot of drinkers, they've got to fix that

according to reports he wasn't even drinking that night, but the whole party mentality has got to change for those guys especialy during the season

they're jeapordizing their futures for an instant high of a party

they need to be alot more responsible, and surround themselves with a better class of people (that goes for any nfl player who currently likes to party)

we've all seen what a night of partying brings....usually nothing good in terms of football

they've got all offseason to party, when you go to work, you should go to work.....

    Tila Tequila on Twitter -
I am allergic to alcohol. It has been publicly known for years. That is how I got the name Tila "Tequila" cuz the irony. I cant drink.

Well kiddies….here is why mama drinks. The answer is…YES…I am indeed ALLERGIC to alcohol. When I drink, my face swells up, I get red all over and rash sploches/patches all over my body. My eyeballs turn red as well. HOWEVER, that doesn’t stop me from drinking every once in a while anyway! hahaha! For instance my best friend is allergic to SEAFOOD, but she loves seafood so much that she will eat it anyway, despite the fact that she breaks out in hives. Why? Well because sometimes….just sometimes it’s worth it just to have a little taste….do you agree??? Well…that is my reason. Since I am allergic to alcohol it doesn’t take me very much to get totally ****faced and plastered. I don’t drink all the time but on special occasions like my birthday or some of the parties I host….it’s fun and the allergic reactions tend to go away by the end of the night….sooooooooo….as long as I don’t puke….which is worse than a simple allergic reaction….I think I should be fine. Does that answer your curiosity???? Well I hope so! Now let’s get crunk and bring on some more champagne!!! Cuz out of all the drinks….I love drinking only champizzle!! The really expensive kinds! hahahahahah

Another fan asked how she got the name “Tila Tequila”

    Tila says:

When I was about 13 or 15 years old…me and some friends got some Tequila and did some shots for the first time. I got so [crazy drunk] and puked
everywhere…so the next day all of my friends at school were teasing me saying, “IT’S TILA TEQUILA!”
    .

i almost hope this does go to a trial, and that it's televised, just to see the lawyer abuse the holy hell out of her lol

honestly....this is so open and shut it's funny

this right here is all you need to know -

Merriman’s attorney, Todd Macaluso, disputed Tequila’s story and said he’s confident Merriman won’t be charged by the District Attorney’s Office.

“There was absolutely no wrongdoing on the part of Mr. Merriman,” Macaluso told The Associated Press by phone. “He essentially was doing what was appropriate under the circumstances in trying to protect the safety of Miss Tequila. There were numerous eyewitnesses that will support his version of the events that transpired at his home.”

Merriman, 25, was taken into custody and booked into the central jail at about 8:30 a.m. He was released shortly after 11 a.m.

Tequila was taken to a hospital. Her condition was not immediately available.

Caldwell said deputies determined Tequila had been drinking.

Asked if Merriman was trying to keep Tequila from driving drunk, Macaluso said: “We don’t want to comment on her conduct. The bottom line is, he did everything in his power to ensure her safety. He hopes she comes forth and tells the truth.”

Caldwell said she wasn’t sure if Merriman had been drinking. Macaluso said witnesses he spoke with said Merriman had ordered water three or four times when his group was at a downtown San Diego club before going to his house. The attorney said none of Merriman’s teammates were at his house.

you could go to sd right now and help a woman across the street and she could turn around and call the cops on you, even if all you did was watch her safely cross the street, without even touching her...she could file a citizen's arrest and you'd go to jail

that's how stupid that law is lol

and then people could come here to this message board and talk massive crap about you and how "well i'll go with the fact that broncbeat got carried away"

and all you were trying to do was help, and you'd have 14 eyewitnesses to back your version of events up...but you'd still go to jail

    sad world, isn't it?

people automatically believe her story over 14 eyewitnesses and a bunch of cops, simply because he's not their player

that's the sad thing about all of this......

you claim to not know the facts, yet the current facts we do have point to no injuries, 14 eyewitnesses backing up merriman's story, and cops also backing him up.....yet you state that he got carried away as if it's a fact

more than likely he took her keys and she got pissed and falsely filed a citizen's arrest

you're probably unaware but, if you file a citizen's arrest in sd they don't even need evidence, you will be taken to jail....no injuries even need be present.

yet you state that it's a fact that he got carried away.......

when by all accounts (cops , eyewitnesses and merriman) that's a lie told by one intoxicated d-lister

14 eyewitnesses and the cops are even backing up merriman

do some research......instead of living with hatred in your heart

seek the truth, it will set you free

don't root for death.....always root for someone to take the keys

hopefully if you ever are in that situation (and IF you're smarter than merriman, you WON'T be in that situation) you will take the keys as well, and hopefully if your woman is a whackjob, she won't falsely call the cops on you.

brandon marshall and shawne merriman, we can all agree on, aren't smart enough to avoid these situations.....

oh and to add, chill, you asked me "why would she call the cops if she was drunk?"

the cops are ON RECORD saying that the woman admitted she was intoxicated

you're backing the wrong horse (whore) in this race, son....i think deep down you know it, and if he was a bronco you'd be admitting your failed rush (no pun) to judgement.....

of course failure to admit you were wrong, equals cowardice.....

i really hope you're not a coward, and will admit you were wrong, when he's officially cleared of all wrongdoing
