While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

anyway if he is suspended it likely wont come until mid season since this just happened...the Chargers happen to play us around that time so it is a possibility. Keep your fingers crossed, not that I see Clady having any trouble with Roidiman.
Shawne Merriman's ex girlfriend Gloria Velez doesn't believe he choked Tila Tequila this weekend -- because Gloria says the San Diego Charger never laid a hand on her during their four years together.
Gloria tells us Shawne "Never ever put his hands on me. Ever." Adding it's "out of his character" to violently lash out on a woman.
It's becoming more and more obvious that this is just a case of simple jealousy and attention whoring by the gremlin known as Tila Tequila.
Report: Jealousy led to incident at Merriman's house

Finally, facts are emerging regarding the incident that resulted in allegations that Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman battered and falsely imprisoned Tila Tequila Nguyen.
And we kind of wish they hadn't.
According to Juliette Vara of 10News.com in San Diego, Nguyen wasn't happy that Merriman was paying too much attention to other women at his home.
Per the report, Merriman went to his bedroom with two women. Nguyen then entered the room, and Merriman asked her to join them. She reacted angrily, threatening to have sex with a member of Merriman's entourage.
Instead, she took off all her clothes and tried to leave the house. Merriman then prevented her from leaving.
Citing unnamed sources, Vara also reports that Nguyen "faked" a neck injury, and that paramedics who arrived at the scene determined that she was fine.
It appears that this report is based on information from one or more of the other persons who were at Merriman's house on the evening in question. And given that one or more of the other persons who were at Merriman's house on the evening in question likely were drinking alcohol too, we're not sure how reliable anyone's recollection as to the events really is.
And that actually helps Merriman. Our guess is that the facts of this case will be littered with inconsistencies and discrepancies, making it a prime situation for a finding of reasonable doubt.
Expect Merriman to be cleared by the DA in the next few days.
Merriman having a 3 some and asking Tila to join him. I dont think that is the type of publicity Goodell is looking for from a busted roids user.
I would imagine that Goodell is hoping this thing just fades away. I don't believe that being a "busted roids user" has very much to do with this case other than Tila's constant Twittering about it. She's using it to try and build a case... it's just ammunition. If he went into any kind of "roid rage", as you guys put it, there wouldn't have been much of a body left to examine. Let alone check for bruises. LOL This whole thing has "soap opera" written all over it.
Tila Tequila, the reality TV star who accused Shawne Merriman of domestic violence last weekend, said via her Twitter feed that she will meet with the San Diego County district attorney's office on Friday.
